‘The Red Sleeve Cuff’ Episode 7: Lee Junho is In Love with Lee Se Young + Court Lady Rejects Crown Prince’s Feelings

In "The Red Sleeve Cuff" episode 7, Sung Deok Im already confessed to her friends about her secret feelings for the crown prince, but due to an unexpected event, she rejected Yi San's genuine love for her.

Yi San Feels Genuinely Happy Upon Hearing Sung Deok Im's Confession

After their intense encounter at the bathtub, the crown prince and the court lady can't stop thinking of each other to the point that even Yi San couldn't focus on his studies for Sung Deok Im kept on appearing in his mind.

While self-studying in one of his favorite spots inside the palace, Yi San and Kang Tae Ho (Oh Dae Hwan) overheard court ladies having a picnic outside. They were cooking and talking about their crushes. The crown prince and his guard tried to eavesdrop and listened to their conversation when he found out that Deok Im was with the ladies.

When it was Sung Deok Im's turn to name the man she likes, Yi San went back and carefully listened. He was surprised when his court lady said his name as someone whom she has feelings for. Yi San immediately went out so no one could see him blushing, his expression proved how satisfied and happy he was to hear Deok Im's answer.

Queen Jungsoon Tells Sung Deok Im that the Crown Prince Has Lots of Enemies

Because of her amazing talent of helping out Queen Jungsoon (Jang Hee In) against Princess Hwawan (Seo Hyo Rim), she was impressed by her and wanted Deok Im to stay by her side, but the court lady refused and wanted to stay at the crown prince's side. The queen understood Deok Im's decision, but she warned her that Yi San, as one of the powerful people in the palace for he is the next king, has a lot of enemies, it will be dangerous for the court lady to be entangled in such a chaotic situation any time soon.

Kang Wol Hye Reveals Her Real Identity to Sung Deok Im

Meanwhile, now that the crown prince was back at his secret group, Hong Dong Ro (Kang Hoon) took the chance to beg him if they could recruit a doctor, but Yi San rejected because he got suspicious of the happenings inside the palace. Sung Deok Im was on her day off with Kang Wol Hye (Ji Eun). While enjoying the moment of looking around the market. Wol Hye confessed that she is the Head Court Lady's (Park Ji Young) niece, Deok Im was extremely shocked about Kang Wol Hye's identity. After buying a book, someone tried to harass the court lady, luckily, a man saved her. She realized that it was her brother, Sung Deok Im was happy to finally meet her sibling.

Yi San Worries Sung Deok Im's Health

Court Lady Seo (Jang Hye Jin) mentioned that Deok Im was not feeling well the other day, that's why she was the one assigned to be his assistant for a day. The crown prince got worried and hid the tangerine on his sleeves and planned to give it to his court lady.

While walking in the garden, he saw Deok Im enjoying the day, so he decided to talk to her. He first asked if she was okay and checked her body temperature. Sung Deok Im was smitten by the sudden gesture of him and made lame excuses just to get out of the awkward moment.

Court Lady Jo Wants Deok Im to Marry the Crown Prince

Court Lady Jo knew how smart and bold Sung Deok Im is. She is the only person she can use against the crown prince. She wanted Deok Im to marry Yi San in order to manipulate people inside the palace. But the court lady refused and revealed that she didn't want to be a concubine but to remain as the crown prince's court lady.

Yi San Confessed to Sung Deok Im But She Rejects Him

The crown prince was busy studying in a quiet place and Sung Deok Im was by his side. Yi San found it as the perfect time to confess his feelings for Deok Im, he even gave his tangerine to her knowing that it might help ease her cold.

But the court lady refused it. The crown prince was hurt by Deok Im's rejection. It angers him and even the guards felt how annoyed he was for his failed confession.

The next day, he and Deok Im met at the library and talked about why they couldn't have a normal relationship like others. Yi San told Deok Im that she is his person, meaning her thoughts, mind, and heart also belong to him.

But the court lady boldly told him the truth that even though she is his person, she and the court ladies still have their own decisions in life and the crown prince should understand and know his limits.
