'Now, We Are Breaking Up' Stars Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong Lead Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings

Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong, lead stars of the top rating Kdrama "Now, We Are Breaking Up," took the top spot of brand reputation rankings for December 2021. 

The Korean Business Research Institute released the latest rankings for the drama actor category based on the data analysis from interaction, media coverage, social value and community indexes of artists who appeared in dramas airing from November 8 to December 8. 

Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong Hailed as Top Drama Actors for December 2021's Brand Reputation Rankings

The Hallyu star proved her dominance in Kdrama after achieving first place in Brand Reputation rankings with a 6,328,712 reputation index, followed by the 29-year-old heartthrob at second place with 4,270,942 points. 

Seemingly, the high-ranking phrases in Song Hye Kyo and Jang Ki Yong's keyword analysis include "for a second," "Kiss," "long-term," while the link analysis are "affectionate," "perfect," and "support."

In addition, the positivity-negativity ratio achieved 79.58 percent positive reactions.

The duo both headline the cast of the SBS romance series "Now, We Are Breaking Up," which has been getting the public's attention due to the lineup of stars and unique storyline. 

Interestingly, the Friday and Saturday Kdrama landed at the fifth spot as the most buzzworthy drama for the first week of December, while Song Hye Kyo took the third spot in actor rankings as cited by Good Data Corporation.

"Jirisan" star Jun Ji Hyun ranked third place with a brand reputation index of 4,252,058, followed by Park Eun Bin, who is currently starring in "The King's Affection," sits at fourth place with 3,858,223 brand reputation index.

Capping off the top five drama actors who lead the current brand reputation rankings is Go Hyun Jung for her impressive portrayal as Jung Hee Joo in JTBC's "Reflection of You."
