For the second week of December 2021, Good Data Corporation released the weekly rankings based on news articles, online communities, social media posts and videos that generated the most buzz for the current and upcoming kdramas.
'The Red Sleeve Cuff' Consistent as Most Buzzworthy Drama
For five consecutive weeks, the MBC historical drama reigned the top spot.
The impressive streak also translates to its soaring viewership rating after garnering a nationwide average of 10.2 percent for its latest episode, making it the most-watched show on its time slot.
Interestingly, the KBS' newly debuted historical Kdrama "Taejong Yi Bang Won" also known as "The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won," made a big jump as it entered the weekly rankings at second place.

Joo sang Wook's weekend series, ousted tvN's "Happiness," and now placing at third.

Meanwhile, KBS2 "The King's Affection" and "Young Lady and Gentleman" slid to fifth and seventh place, respectively.
Unfortunately, this week's Most Buzzworthy Drama rankings do not include Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK's Jisoo's upcoming Kdrama "Snowdrop."
Set to hit the small screen on December 18, the melodrama failed to enter the list despite the massive buzz on social media.
To recall, the previous "Snowdrop" was previously at ninth place.

While the historical series remains the lead the drama category, 2PM's Lee Junho and Lee Se Young continue to sweep the rankings for the most buzzworthy actors chart.
The lead stars of "The Red Sleeve Cuff" are not giving up the title just yet after showing their consistency on the top spot.
The 28-year-old actress took first place, followed by the singer-actor in second.
"Our Beloved Summer" stars Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik are this week's newcomers after securing their place at third and seventh spot.
Previously at eighth place, "The King's Affection" star Park Eun Bin is currently at fourth while Hallyu star Song Hye Kyo, "Melancholia" star lee Do Hyun and Park Hyung Sik from "Happiness" now sits at fifth, sixth and ninth spot.
