Set during the alcohol prohibition in Joseon era, "Moonshine" follows the romantic story of illegal alcohol-maker Kang Ro Seo (Girl's Day Hyeri) and great inspector Nam Young (Yoo Seung Ho).
The drama focuses on Kang Ro Seo, a cheery yet strong-willed character who is desperate to survive and provide for her family through illegally brewing liquor despite the strengthened law against alcoholic beverages.
On December 16, "Moonshine" entices fans and potential viewers with new refreshing stills featuring Kang Ro Seo and her best friend and partner in crime Geum Yi.
Geum Yi, the government's slave, is played by "Police University" actress Seo Ye Hwa. Despite being Joseon era's cinder, she knows how to read and became in charge at the medical institution of treating commoners.
