Namgoong Min Courted to Lead New SBS Legal Drama ‘1000 Won Lawyer’
Namgoong Min might have his immediate drama comeback this 2022 with a new legal series.
After the successful finale of his action-suspense drama "The Veil" in October 2021, Namgoong Min is already receiving new project offers and one of the many potential dramas that he might work on is the legal series "1000 Won Lawyer."
SBS' '1000 Won Lawyer' is Namgoong Min's Potential Drama Comeback
According to Osen News, the actor is courted to lead the new SBS drama. In response, Namgoong Min's agency 935 Entertainment announced that "1000 Won Lawyer" is one of the dramas offered to the award-winning actor and nothing has been confirmed yet.
"1000 Won Lawyer" centers its story on a troublemaker lawyer who is smart and skilled in his field but charges 1000 won as his attorney's fee.
In addition, the famous siblings Choi Chang Hwan and Choi Soo Jin, who penned the series "Defendant," are also the creative minds behind Namgoong Min's potential drama.
"1000 Won Lawyer" was hailed as winner at the SBS Script Contest held in 2015.
If Namgoong Min accepts the project, he is expected to portray the role of a lawyer. Further details about the casting and schedule of production are yet to be confirmed.

The public is already anticipating the possible comeback drama of Namgoong Min as he has proved his excellence in acting after winning the Daesang for two consecutive years for his dramas "Hot Stove League" in 2020 and MBC's "The Veil" in 2021.

On December 31, 2021, Namgoong Min got emotional receiving the Grand Prize at the MBC Drama Awards. With all the exceptional actors competing for the title, including his real-friend and "Good Manager" co-star Lee Junho, Namgoong Min bagged the award.

The two stars also made the fans happy as it was their first public appearance together since they became busy with their solo projects.
Lee Junho and Namgoong Min already showed support to one another after they sent coffee trucks to each other while filming their respective dramas "The Red Sleeve Cuff" and "The Veil."
Apart from him, "The Veil" team won four awards, including Best New Actress (Kim Ji Eun), Best Supporting Actor (Kim Do Hyun), and Jung Moon Sung and Jang Young Nam for Excellence in Acting Awards for an Actress in Short Drama and Mini Series, respectively.
