As a strong warrior who aims to meet his true father, he decided to transform into a woman and live in the small village in the mountain where only widowed women lived.
He then meets Dong Dong Ju (Kim So Hyun), a charming yet fierce woman who wishes to take revenge for the death of her father. With the drama's interesting plot, Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun received massive support from viewers.
However, due to their closeness while working together, rumors speculating that the two were dating circulated on social media.

Sadly for shippers, according to Celebs Insights, Jang Dong Yoon did not date his previous leading lady. It was just that he got really close to Kim So Hyun and that they were comfortable with each other.
In some of their previous video interactions, Dong Yoon could be seen always taking care of his leading lady and treating her as his younger sibling.
Hence, their adorable chemistry in "The Tale of Nokdu" was enjoyed by the viewers and successfully take home the Best Couple Award at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards. Jang Dong Yoon and Kim So Hyun also hailed as the Excellent Actor and Actress ofr their promising performances in the K-series.
What's in Store Jang Dong Yoon This 2022
Jang Dong Yoon almost had a successful drama comeback in 2021 with SBS' "Joseon Exorcist," but due to historical distortion, the series was scrapped.
Since then, the 29-year-old actor took a break from the industry.
But in the second half of 2021, Jang Dong Yoon announced his return. He finished the romance film "Long Distance," alongside Park Yoo Na, and action-suspense movie "Wolf Hunt" with Seo In Guk.
The two movies are expected to premiere sometime in 2022.
The most recent confirmed project of the actor is the fantasy romance drama "My Man is Cupid," where he will work for the first time with singer-actress Nana.
"My Man is Cupid" marks Jang Dong Yoon's first drama this year and his fans are already looking forward to his much-awaited small screen return.
