Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk Display Playful Charms in ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One’ Character Posters
TvN released the character posters of Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk as the Kdrama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" gears up for its much-awaited premiere.
The broadcast network welcomed the main characters Baek Yi Jin, played by the "Start-Up" star and Na Hee Do, portrayed by the 31-year-old actress.

In a series of photos, tvN introduces the playful roles of Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk, featuring their cheerful and childlike aura.
Wearing a denim-inspired outfit, the South Korean heartthrob jumps on his bed surrounded by a microphone, radio and walkman, hinting about his role.
Meanwhile, Kim Tae Ri's character poster dons the same pose, but she was surrounded with fencing gear, suggesting that she is a student-athlete.

'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' Cast, Release Date and More
Helmed by "The King: Eternal Monarch" and "You are My Pring" director Jung Ji Hyun and penned by Kwon Do Eun, who wrote Kdrama "Search WWW" Twenty-Five Twenty-One is set in the late 1990s and follows the story of 18-year-old Na Hee Doo and 20-year-old Baek Yi Jin.
Na Hee Do is known as one of the student-athletes of their campus and dreams of becoming a professional fencer someday.
On the other hand, Baek Yi Jin is the eldest among the siblings whose family got torn apart because of the financial crisis that hit South Korea.
To support his family, he had to work odd jobs but wanted to pursue his dream to become a reporter someday.
Three years later, he and Na Hee Do got reunited and fell in love.
The production company, Hwa&Dam Pictures, mentioned what the viewers might expect in "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."
"The refreshing synergy between Kim Tae Ri, who plays 21-year-old Na Hee Do, and Nam Joo Hyuk, who plays 25-year-old Baek Yi Jin, is reflected in the 'legacy poster.' Please look forward to 'Twenty-Five Twenty-One' to see how the youthful chemistry between Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk, who perfectly portrayed their characters, will be drawn at each and every moment."
The upcoming Kdrama is slated to premiere on February 12 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
Apart from the two lead stars, "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" cast includes Bona as Go Yu Rim and will act as Kim Tae Ri's nemesis.
Joining the cast lineup is Choi Hyun Wook who took on the role of social media wannabe Moon Ji Woong.

In a short video released by tvN, lead stars Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk spoke about their experience and what they think about their roles in "Twenty-Five Twenty-One."
The "Space Sweepers" star described Na Hee Do as a "fencing prodigy" but experienced a slump in her career and continued to get back at the sport that she used to love.
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old actor mentioned that his character has a "very positive" attitude and "could get along with anyone."
Regarding his similarity with Baek Yi Jin, he says that he and his role have only 20 percent similarities but did not elaborate on what aspect.
He teases fans that the viewers would know his similarity with Yi Jin once they've watched the Kdrama.
