JTBC's melodrama "The One and Only" starring Ahn Eun Jin, Kang Ye Won and Red Velvet Joy is getting more intense and interesting as it enters the second half of the drama!

It depicts the heartwarming stories of three terminally ill women who meet a hospice, navigating life, friendship and love with their numbered days.

Now that the drama is in its fifth week, twists and turns are about to unfold. Here's what you shouldn't miss in the much loved melodrama "The One and Only!"

1. Pyo In Sook and Min Woo Chun's Tragic Relationship

When they were still young, Pyo In Sook (Ahn Eun Jin) saved a dying young boy, apparently it was Min Woo Chun (Kim Kyung Nam). As adults, the two then meet at a quite unusual scene, finding what went down that resulted in a murder.

The two only have one thing in common: the goal to take down Ha Young Geun (Baek Hyun Jin). However, Yoo Kyung Mi (Cha Hee) took care of the matter, disabling them to do their plans.

Because Pyo In Sook and Min Woo Chun are the only ones who know the truth behind the murder, the police think they are the key element in chlosing the case, tracking them down.

The two face a dilemma of turning in the real culprit or keeping their peace. If they tell the truth, Ha San Ah's (Seo Yeon Woo) mother will be taken and she'll grow up alone.

Pyo In Sook is very much familiar with the feeling of being alone, so she decides to take responsibility for everything. Meanwhile, Min Woo Chun, who loves her deeply, will do anything to stop her from surrendering.

Their relationship gets more complicated as both of them, despite their complex relationship, are ready to take bullets for one another.

2. The Moss Rose Serial Killings

On the night of the murder, Min Woo Chun placed a moss-colored rose on the body of Ha Young Geun.

Strangely, another body-an ex-convict who just got out of prison-with the same flower appeared floating in the middle of the ocean.

As the details of Ha Young Geun's history resurface, the criminal who punished him was now a hero. Because of the confusing serial killings, the public is now focused on how the case of the moss rose killings will continue to play out.

3. Min Woo Chun vs. Gu Ji Pyo

Interestingly, with the help of Park Seung Sun (Choi Young Woo), the person who instructed Min Woo Chun to murder Ha Young Geun was Gu Ji Pyo (Ha Kyu Won). Surprise and shock were conveyed when the former picked up the dead Ha Young Geun's phone, and confirmed that he's "1."

Because of this, certain effects on these events will take place and will clearly affect his relationship with Pyo In Sook. Focus is given on how Min Woo Chun protects the love of his life, even when she's dying.
