‘Bulgasal: Immortal Souls’ Episode 14: Lee Jin Wook Drives Away Kwon Nara, Gong Seung Yeon, More Because of Lee Joon
The untold stories of Lee Jin Wook's past were finally unraveled in "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" episode 14.
Apart from it, Lee Joon is trying to lure Jung Jin Young to shift to his side by using his unfortunate past.
'Bulgasal: Immortal Souls' Episode 14: Reincarnated Monster Abducts Min Shi Ho and Nam Do Yoon
Min Sang Un prevented Dan Hwal from killing Captain Ham after finding out that Min Shi Ho and Nam Do Yoon were abducted by one of Ok Eul Tae's men.
She reminds Dan Hwal how he differs from the Dark Hole saying "You shouldn't be the same person as Ok Eul Tae.
On the other hand, Detective Kwon Ho Yeol thinks that the person who kidnapped the two seems to be familiar and tells Dan Hwal that he might be reincarnated as well.
Through Captain Ham, they learned about his records and were involved in a series of murders.
However, knowing that he is a reincarnated monster, Ok Eul Tae took him under his wing.
Dan Hwal Loses His Sight
"Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" episode 14 illustrates how Ok Eul Tae provokes Dan Hwal by hurting the ones he loves.
After finally tracking down the two, he sees Do Yoon who was badly hurt because he tried to sacrifice himself to save Shi Ho; unfortunately, he was taken by the villain.
Luckily, Min Sang Un finds Shi Ho unconscious and being carried by the monster.

"Ok Eul Tae was right. He said "you'll come looking for me," and went to attack Sang Un but stabbed him with a dagger.
In the scene, she was furious after knowing that it was the Dark Hole who killed Ms. Lee.
"Both you and Ok Eul Tae wanted to kill me. Why did you have to harm others," she asked.
Sang Un continued stabbing the monster but he was too strong.
In the nick of time, Dan Hwal prevented him from stabbing Sang Un.
Here, Dan Hwal recalled that the monster was Yeongno, who killed 100 noblemen in the past.
Unfortunately, he gets the upper hand and strikes Dan Hwal with a dagger across his face, but was able to hit back, leaving the monster dead.
His encounter with Yeongno left the bulgasal blind.
Did Dan Hwal Kill Detective Kwon Ho Yeol's Father?
As "Bulgasal: Immortal Souls" episode 14 continues, Ok Eul Tae tells detective Kwon Ho Yeol about his painful past.
In hopes of getting him to his side, he revealed that it was Dan Hwal who killed his father.
Surprisingly, the detective's father used to beat them and his mother and was often the cause of trouble in their neighborhood. He didn't know that he was not a human but a reincarnated monster.
Because he was hunting Kim Hwa Yeon, or Min Sang Un in her present life, he encountered Ho Yeol's father who transformed into a monster.
Given this, Hwal had no choice but to kill him.
However, Ok Eul Tae did not mention what prompted Dan Hwal to murder his father.
This revelation sparks confusion towards his loyalty to Dan Hwal.
Dan Hwal Wants to Shut Off Min Sang Un, Min Shi Ho and Everyone in his Life
With Ms. Lee gone, whom Dan Hwal treated as his only family, he secretly grieves for her tragic death, he sees a memory of her, asking him to take her.
"You always talk about wanting to live with me but you wanted me dead 600 years ago, so why do you keep coming for me?" he asked the young Ms. Lee.
However, Dan Hwal experienced a strange feeling as if he could breathe.
Because of this, he attempted to kill himself but was stopped by Min Sang Un.
He gets honest and expresses how devastated he is to see her die.
Moreover, he regrets that he never confronted her even when he needs him the most, "when in fact she was like a daughter to me," he said.
Due to this, he pushes everyone away and tells Sang Un that he is tired of protecting everyone and loses the one he loves.
However, Min Sang Un promised to be with him till the end.
