JTBC's upcoming romantic drama "Thirty-Nine" starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun unveiled a new melancholic yet heart-warming teaser ahead of its much-anticipated premiere!
"Thirty-Nine" follows the quirky lives of three high school friends who are now about to turn 40. It will depict the beautiful daily stories of three 39-year-olds who experience unexpected highs and lows of life.
Son Ye Jin plays the role of Cha Mi Jo, a dermatologist based in Gangnam. Jeon Mi Do transforms into Jung Chan Young, an acting teacher who once dreamed of becoming an actress. On the other hand, Kim Ji Hyun stars as department store cosmetics manager Jang Joo Hee.
The new drama teaser starts with a sneak peek of the three best friends' tight-knit friendship. In the teaser, Cha Min Jo lovingly describes their friendship as a "family."
The three of them live their lives harmoniously together. However, their picture-perfect lives are threatened when a huge life challenge is presented to them. Refusing to believe the tragic thing is happening to one of her loved ones, Cha Mi Jo denies the truth as Jang Joo Hee cries silently beside her.
In the corner, Jung Chan Young is seen struggling along in pain. Cha Mi Jo, who sees it, faints, losing consciousness.

The drama teaser ends with Cha Mi Jo, Jung Chan Young, and Jang Jo Hee happily watching the first snow with their significant others Kim Sun Woo (Yeon Woo Jin), Kim Jin Seok (Lee Moo Saeng), and Park Hyun Joon (Lee Tae Hwan).

JTBC's "Thirty-Nine" premieres for the first time on Wednesday, February 16 at 10:30 p.m. KST. It will also be available for worldwide streaming on Netflix.
