Fans might see Park Bo Young working alongside the "All of Us Are Dead" director Lee Jae Gyu in an upcoming Kdrama. 

According to JoyNews24, the 31-year-old actress is in talks to headline the cast of a new webtoon-based series.

Titled "Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too," it focuses on the stories of patients inside a psychiatric ward.

Interestingly, this healing Kdrama is based on the real-life experience of a psychiatric nurse named Jung Shi Na, which is set to be Park Bo Young's role. 

"Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too" will be Lee Jae Gyu's follow-up project after the blockbuster K-zombie series "All of Us Are Dead."

Apart from the Netflix series, he is also the genius behind the musical series "Beethoven Virus," Lee Seung Gi and Ha Jo Won's "King2Hearts" and the 2019 psychological thriller Kdrama "Trap."

As for Park Bo Young, "Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too" will be her comeback Kdrama after starring in the fantasy series "Doom at Your Service" with Seo In Guk.

Released in May, the fantasy rom-com series is one of tvN most beloved Kdramas of 2021. Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk consistently lead the most buzzworthy actors for weeks at the height of the series. 

In an interview after the "Doom at Your Service" finale, the cast expressed their thoughts and experience as they bid goodbye to fans. The former child star turned sought-after leading lady admitted that she felt "sad" that the fantasy series had come to an end. 

"I truly, really feel sad. I almost feel like I might not be able to film with such a great staff again. I will ll have many great memories since I filmed with such great people, and because of that, Tak Dong Kyung will take up a big place in my heart as well," Park Bo Young said

Moreover, she took the opportunity to thank fans and hoped that the Kdrama would be a way for the viewers "to seek what you truly wish for in life."

Park Bo Young Makes Meaningful Donation to Firefighters, Paramedics

Months after the drama ended, Park Bo Young made it to the headline after making a heartwarming donation to firefighters and paramedics at the height of the health crisis. 

In August 2021, her agency, BH Entertainment, revealed that the "Abyss" star donated 100,000 masks to the said frontliners who are struggling to do their responsibilities despite the surge of COVID-19. 

To recall, this is not the first time that she has had similar activity. 

In 2020, the actress gave $44,000 or 50 million won to the Community Chest of Korea, which aids low-income families and elderlies suffering from the pandemic.
