‘Snowdrop’ Star Song Kun Hee Joins GOT7’s Jinyoung in New Movie ‘Christmas Carol’

After working with BLACKPINK Jisoo, Song Kun Hee will work GOT7 member Jinyoung in the forthcoming movie "Christmas Carol," which is scheduled to start production in the first half of 2022.

Korean media outlet OSEN news announced on February 7 that Song Kun Hee is confirmed to join idol-actor Park Jinyoung in the movie "Christmas Carol." He takes the role of Iljin Mun Hoon, a guy who leads the gang in the juvenile center. The actor is expected to display tension in the film.

"Christmas Carol" is a mystery-revenge film about a twin brother who entered a juvenile center to avenge the death of his twin brother.

In addition, the movie will feature realistic actions and psychological thrillers.

Kim Sung Soo, who helmed OCN drama "Save Me" will direct the film.

Meanwhile, in October 2021, Jinyoung who recently finished his dramas "The Devil Judge" and "Yumi's Cells" was the first actor to confirm his participation in the film. The GOT7 member will play the characters of twin brothers Kim Young Nim and Kim Dong Hwi.

This is not the first time that Song Kun Hee will work with idol-actors. In fact, since he started acting in 2018, he has already teamed up with lots of talented stars namely ASTRO members Cha Eun Woo and Moonbin, Ong Seung Wu, and BTOB's Yook Sung Jae.

Though he just began his acting journey in 2018, lots of doors have already opened for Song Kun Hee to showcase his other potential to be one of the promising actors in Korean entertainment.

What's Next for 'Snowdrop' Actor Song Kun Hee

Song Kun Hee previously starred in JTBC's "Snowdrop" and played Eun Yeong U, the brother of BLACKPINK Jisoo's character. 

The young actor is also confirmed to lead upcoming K-Drama "Ultimate Weapon Alice," alongside "So Not Worth It" actress Park Se Wan.

It tells the story of a mysterious transfer high school student, Gyro Wool (Park Se Wan), who is also a serial killer. She then meets the student Yeo Reum (Song Kun Hee) who suffers from a trauma in his childhood.

"Ultimate Weapon Alice" is scheduled to air in the first half of 2022.

Song Kun Hee already starred in various dramas, such as "My ID is Gangnam Beauty," "Sky Castle," "Love Alarm," "Arthdal Chronicles," "Tale of Nokdu," "Mystic Pop-up Bar," and more.
