Yoon Chan Young spills his preparation for "All of Us Are Dead" as he graced Elle Korea.

The 20-year-old actor is one of Korea's current hottest rising stars after landing his role as Lee Cheong San in Netflix's K-zombie series.

The 12-episode series depicts the story of Hyosan High School students who struggled to survive on a zombie-packed campus.

In the drama, the "Thirty But Seventeen" actor wowed the viewers with his impeccable skills portraying the main character and not to mention his on-screen chemistry with Park Ji Hoo, who played Nam On Jo.

Yoon Chan Young Workout Routine

During his recent interview with Elle Korea, the 20-year-old actor dishes out how he managed to stay fit during the production.

Interestingly, Yoon Chan Young's workout routine includes running. Obviously, this is one cardio exercise that would make everyone super exhausted, even athletes.

With this, he admitted that there were times he wanted to give up, but instead, he opted not to give in and "ran even more," adding "which helped me a lot when I was filming the library scene in 'All of Us Are Dead.'"

In addition, the "All of Us Are Dead" cast shared during the press conference how they prepared for the Kdrama.

Apart from their individual workout routine, the cast members underwent a series of training for martial arts classes and even choreography.

They would spend hours doing intense training to build up their stamina since there are a lot of physical stunts involved.

On the other hand, Cho Yi Hyun, who plays class president Choi Nam Ra, mentioned that girls also need to be present in acting school even if they don't have fighting scenes.

She explained that they "needed a lot of stamina just to run away from them," referring to the zombies.
