Directed by Kim Kyu Tae, the genius behind hit K-dramas "That Winter, The Wind Blows," It's Okay, That's Love," and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," he has teamed up with famous drama writer Noh Hee Kyung to create such magnificent series.

"Our Blues" is described as an omnibus-style K-drama that highlights exciting stories of characters and their connection with one another.

Set in scenic Jeju Island, it featured Lee Byung Hun, who took on the role of Lee Dong Suk. Born and raised on the island, Dong Suk makes ends meet by selling trucks.

Interestingly, he crosses paths with the new girl, Min Sun Ah, played by Shin Min Ah, whom he used to be his former classmate.

Will their unexpected reunion sparks budding romance?

Joining the duo is Han Ji Min as Lee Young Ok. She is a rookie haenyeo, also known as the female diver in the province of Jeju. Despite being caught up in numerous controversies, ship captain Park Jung Joon, played by Kim Woo Bin, falls in love with her.

Interestingly, this made Choi Han Soo, played by Jung Eun Hee, happy after knowing that her first love is now in their neighborhood.

Lastly, Uhm Jung Hwa took on the role of Choi Han Soo's friend named Go Mi Ran, who also left the city after being fed up with the fast phased life.

"Our Blues" release date is scheduled to hit the small screens on April 9 via tvN and Netflix.
