'A Business Proposal' Actress Kim Sejeong To Lead New Drama 'Today's Webtoon'
Kim Sejeong gears up for her new major acting role in another SBS TV drama "Today's Webtoon" (literal title)!
On March 25, it was confirmed that Kim Sejeong will lead the upcoming SBS drama "Today's Webtoon," which is a Korean remake of the popular Japanese drama "Sleepeeer Hit!" in 2016.
The drama tells the story of On Ma Eum, a former judo athlete who joins the webtoon editorial department. She struggles to improve herself as a webtoon editor.
It will also showcase the competitive nature of the field in South Korea. Kim Sejeong takes on the role of the rookie contract employee On Ma Eun in the drama.
She quit her athletic career after an unfortunate accident took place during a match. It tore her ankle ligaments. But her passion did not die and she began to dream anew.

On Ma Eum is a bubbly employee with a positive attitude, in spite of life's many adversities. With her outstanding performance in "A Business Proposal," Kim Sejeong is expected to portray the realistic life of a rookie employee.
In the earlier part of 2022, Nam Yoon Su, who appeared in the historical romance series "The King's Affection," was reported to appear in the drama.
On the other hand, Kim Sejeong establishes her name in the industry through her worldwide hit SBS drama "A Business Proposal" with Ahn Hyo Seop.

Moreover, "Today's Webtoon" is slated to air in the second half of 2022.

Kim Sejeong halts all scheduled activities after she tests positive for COVID-19.
On March 22, the singer-actress was diagnosed with the virus after undergoing a pre-emptive rapid test as well as PCR testing. Both came back positive.

Due to this event, the artist announced the postponement of her first ever solo fan meeting "Sejeong's World Diary" which is scheduled on Saturday, March 26 at YES24 Live Hall.
