Based on a popular web novel of the same name, "A Business Proposal" centers around the chaotic romance between a regular employee who goes on a blind date with her boss in place of a friend.

Kim Sejeong stars as Shin Ha Ri, a food researcher who goes on a blind date in favor of her best friend Jin Young Seo, played by Seol In Ah. Ahn Hyo Seop plays the role of hot, stern and handsome CEO Ahn Hyo Seop.
In choosing her next project, the actress sees to it that the genre is to her liking. When asked why she chose to appear in the drama, she revealed that she liked how the main character has an alter ego in a romantic comedy genre.
"For me, a romantic comedy feels like a test, so I wanted to challenge myself," she reasoned out.

Kim Sejeong's character, Shin Ha Ri, lives a double life-as a regular employee and a femme fatale blind date partner. According to the actress, she finds doing a two-character role fun and interesting.

When she's living as Shin Ha Ri, the bubbly and active food researcher, Kim Sejeong is enveloped with positivity and lovely charms. She also wears simple clothing, styling her hair simply.

On the other hand, she becomes a dangerous fox when she becomes Shin Geum Hee, her "alter ego" who is set to go on blind dates. Geum Hee has undeniable charisma and sophisticated vibes, mostly seen clothed with gorgeous jewels and high-end clothing.
Here's How Kim Sejeong Prepared for 'A Business Proposal'
Kim Sejeong clarified that despite her two characters' differences in choices of clothing, Shin Ha Ri and Shin Geu Hee are not different people.

"Geum Hee is played by Ha Ri, who's trying to pretend to be a little different," Kim Sejeong reasoned. "The two characters are changed by different styles, but their sincerity and attitude are not selective."

In synchronizing with her characters, Kim Sejeong focused on her clothes to further highlight which character she's portraying in some scenes. She also focused on her body language, facial expressions and energy when switching from one persona to another.

Meanwhile, Kim Sejeong hinted at a possible angst in her character's life, saying, "Despite Shin Ha Ri's bubbly personality, she's a little pitiable."
What Does Kim Sejeong Want to Achieve Through the Drama?
Through "A Business Proposal," Kim Sejeong wants to showcase a different side of her.

"The viewers will be able to see a Kim Sejeong who's brighter, more lovable and charming," she said. Kim Sejeong intends to show a more delicate appearance through "A Business Proposal."
