Netflix Named These Six Ongoing K-Dramas That Remained Famous Worldwide

The K-drama fever is making a huge impact not just in Asia but also in Western countries. After the success of "Parasite" and "Squid Game," viewers from the international market started to consume more Korean content. Thanks to the famous online streaming platform, Netflix, they have records that prove how famous K-series are worldwide.

According to the released record of Netflix on March 25, six Korean dramas made it to the Global Top 10 TV Shows in the non-English category based on the track from March 13 to 20.

The most trending dramas today "A Business Proposal" and "Twenty Five, Twenty One" successfully remained superior at No.1 and No. 2.

Kim Hye Soo's legal-court series "Juvenile Justice" is at No.4, while zombie-themed drama "All of Us Are Dead" is at the fifth spot.

Park Min Young and Song Kang's "Forecasting Love and Weather," which airs during weekends also entered the list and occupied the sixth spot. Meanwhile, JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday series "Thirty-Nine" starring Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun is at the No. 10 spot. 

Why Do Foreigners Love Watching K-Dramas?

From romantic-comedy, coming-of-age, to zombie-themed series Korean dramas have caught the attention of the world regardless of any genre. In addition, foreign viewers' have fresh series to look forward to every week.

Because of the nature of foreign dramas and their impact on a wide variety of audiences, most genres and season-based series are being enjoyed in different parts of the world. Also, the fast development and production of multiple Korean contents seem to have acted as a major factor in the box office's success.

On the other hand, though these beautifully written dramas are generating buzz every week. Unfortunately, most of them are about to have their final episodes in less than three weeks. tvN's "Twenty Five, Twenty One" will broadcast episode 16 on April 3, same as with "Forecasting Love and Weather."

SBS' "A Business Proposal" will conclude with twelve episodes on April 5, and "Thirty-Nine" will end on March 31. Hence, look forward to more revelation and the unexpected plot twist with these series' remaining episodes.
