The actress gears up for the premiere of her newest series under JTBC. The 52-year-old South Korean actress spills more secrets regarding her working relationship with co-star Cha Seung Won and screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung.

"Our Blues" screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung has produced tons of remarkable K-dramas that fans have loved throughout the years. 

He is the person behind the success of "Padam Padam," Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo-led series "That Winter, The Wind Blows," and the smash-hit rom-com "It's Okay, That's Love." 

In a report cited by Newsis, Lee Jung Eun praised the screenwriter for creating such a beautiful masterpiece, referring to the healing K-drama "Our Blues." 

The award-winning actress also spoke about meeting him for the first time and being overwhelmed by his charisma.

During the interview obtained by the local outlet, she also shared her experience working alongside the equally-talented Cha Seung Won. 

In "Our Blues," Lee Jung Eun portrays a local fish shop owner Jung Eun Hee and her unexpected reunion with former crush Choi Han Soo, played by the 51-year-old actor. 

They accidentally cross paths on Jeju Island when Han Soo returns to his hometown after realizing that city life is not for him.

Dishing out what the viewers should look forward to towards her loveline with her on-screen partner, Lee Jung Eun revealed that she and Cha Seung Won will deliver heart-fluttering romance. She specifically cited her kiss scene with the actor.

However, the actress jokingly apologized and said that the scene would be magical if Cha Seung Won  was paired with a beautiful actress but added, "I have a lot of money" pertaining to her K-drama character.

K-drama fans are looking forward to the star-studded healing K-drama "Our Blues." 

The cast, which includes Lee Jung Eun, Cha Seung Won, Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Han Ji Min and more, are set to deliver various yet interesting stories of people living on Jeju Island. 

The omnibus style K-drama is helmed by director "That Winter, The Wind Blows," and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" Kim Kyu Tae alongside screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung. 

"Our Blues" release date is scheduled to hit the small screens on April 9 via tvN and Netflix

Lee Jung Eun recalled her working experience with Oscar-Winning director Bong Joon Ho as the interview continued. 

To recall, the actress appeared in his award-winning film "Parasite" where she took on the role of the wealthy family's helper, Guk Mun Gwang. 

Interestingly, this is not her first time starring in a Bong Joon Ho-directed project. 

Lee Jung Eun expressed her gratitude to the 52-year-old director for casting her in the 2009 movie "Mother" alongside Korea's biggest names in the industry.
