'Tomorrow' Episode 9 Recap: Goo Ryeon and Park Joong Gil's Past Life
The ninth episode began with Park Joong Gil accidentally meeting Goo Ryeon.
He took the opportunity to ask Goo Ryeon about his odd nightmare, which includes her.
The cold-hearted grim reaper is clueless as to why Goo Ryeon was in his dream and suspects that they might know each other from their previous life.

Risk Management Team Deals with a Suicidal Dog
"Tomorrow" episode 9 also focuses on Choi Joon Woong's family. As the viewers know, he is alive, but his soul is in limbo.
It came after he saved someone from a bridge and ended up in a coma. For months, his health has not been getting better.
In one scene, he sees his family and feels guilty because they are all suffering because of him. Joon Woong's younger sister had to take tutorial jobs and quit school to support their family. As for her mother, they had to close down their snack bar temporarily because she couldn't take care of her son and run a business at the same time.
Interestingly, the trio received an alert message noting that a dog named Kong is about to commit suicide.
As the team figured out the reason why Kong wanted to end this, they learned that the dog had a severe illness. Initially, they concluded that it might be the reason why his owner abandoned him.
Luckily, with the help of Gumandeung's tech specialists, the team managed to see Kong's past.
He was a well-loved dog whom the owner, Hun, adored Kong deeply. He had Kong since he was little and even saved Kong during an accident, causing him stitches on his arm.
However, Hun gets older, and so does Kong. Due to age, he was diagnosed with an illness and had to do a lot of procedures but no guarantee that it would heal Kong.
In one scene, Kong heard Hun talking on the phone that he'll be devastated if he passed away.
Hearing this broke Kong's heart which made him run away from their home. Choi Joon Woong thinks that Kong did it because he didn't want to be a burden to Hun.
Fortunately, they located Hun and finally met Kong. The grim reapers explained everything about Kong's condition and why he ran away from him.
In another tear-jerking scene of "Tomorrow," Goo Ryeon advised Hun that he had to say goodbye to his best friend. For one last time, Hun and Kong had a walk and mentioned how he is thankful because of him.
"Please wait for a little while. When we meet again, I'll play with you every day," he said.
In the latter part of the drama, Jade Emperor was with Kong at her office, waiting for a special visitor.
An old man with a flower tattoo on his arm arrived in the room and was greeted by Kong. It turns out it was the old Hun.
