Ahn Bo Hyun, YoonA’s New Movie ‘2 O’Clock Date’ Starts Production
Ahn Bo Hyun and Girls' Generation's YoonA have begun filming their upcoming movie 2 O'Clock Date.
As cited by a Korean media outlet, the rom-com movie officially started production on April 28.

While fans patiently wait for the unique team-up between lead stars Ahn Bo Hyun and YoonA, Lee Sang Geun, the director behind "2 O'Clock Date" and the 2019 movie "Exit," revealed his expectation for the forthcoming film.
As noted by the same outlet, the filmmaker said that he is excited and "honored" to start his second movie. He said, "I am even more happy that the staff and actors I can trust and rely on are gathered in one place."
Moreover, director Lee Sang Geun also pointed out that he wanted "to complete a film that the audience will enjoy," hinting at entertaining scenes in the upcoming movie.

Meanwhile, YoonA expressed her "excitement" toward "2 O'Clock Date," saying that she thinks she'll "be able to spend another hot summer with the "Exit" team." The actress "will work hard" to portray her character.
The same goes for Ahn Bo Hyun, who said that he is thrilled to work with the director and YoonA.
"I was drawn to a different scenario at once. I enjoyed "Exit" so much that I was excited to work with director Lee Sang Geun and reassured by working with Im Yoon Ah."
The upcoming rom-com movie will be the Girls' Generation member and Ahn Bo Hyun's first time working on the big screen.

In December 2021, production company Filmmaker R&K confirmed that YoonA and Ahn Bo Hyun will headline the cast of "2 O'Clock Date."

To recall, Kim Seon Ho was supposed to be the male lead in the upcoming rom-com film but was replaced by the "Military Prosecutor Doberman" star following the actor's controversy.

With the new cast lineup, YoonA took on the role of a woman with big secrets, while Ahn Bo Hyun portrays her neighbor who lives above her apartment.
"2 O'Clock Date" follows the story of two individuals who live in the same building. It depicts the unexpected friendship between two neighbors who end up meeting every single day.
Adding entertainment to the upcoming movie is veteran actor Sung Dong Il who will play the father of YoonA, while rookie actress Joo Hyun Young will be her cousin.
"2 O'Clock Date" is the singer-actress' next movie after the star-studded omnibus film "A Year-End Medley."
Apart from her upcoming film, YonnA will also return to the small screen with two new K-dramas, "Big Mouth" with Lee Jong Suk and another rom-com series, "King the Land" with 2 PM's Junho.
As for Ahn Bo Hyun, he is currently starring in the action military series "Military Prosecutor Doberman" with Jo Bo Ah. He is set to reprise his role as Goo Woong in Kim Go Eun's drama "Yumi's Cells."
