Lee Joon Gi is already a household name in the K-drama industry. He acted in various series that were loved and lauded by viewers local and abroad. His top-notch acting prowess and admirable looks are some of the things people swoon about him.

It has been said that the male star's career skyrocketed to stardom when he starred in the 2005 movie "The King and the Clow," where he underwent tough competition before landing the role of Gong Gil.

Now that his drama "Again My Life" completed its run on SBS primetime, here are the dramas that you can watch next starring the ever-talented Lee Joon Gi.

'My Girl'

After he debuted in 2003, Lee Joon Gi landed a second lead role in the 2005 rom-com drama "My Girl" where he worked with Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hee.

It follows the romance story of Joo Yu Ri (Lee Da Hee), a con artist, and who disguises herself as Seol Gong Chan's (Lee Dong Wook) cousin. Lee Joon Gi on the other hand portrayed the character of Seo Jung Woo, a former playboy who falls in love with Yu Ri.

His character plays a major role in the drama's popularity. Joon Gi's layered haircut and charisma left an impression on the audience. In the first episode, he showcased his incredible action stunts in fighting with the mafias, which later on in his career became his forte as the master of action. If you want to see the sweet and caring side of Lee Joon Gi, "My Girl" is one of his dramas that you should try watching now.

'Scholar Who Walks the Night'

Years passed, and Lee Joong Gi gained more popularity and received amazing scripts in which the roles perfectly fit him. In 2015, he led the fantasy-romance series "Scholar Who Walks the Night" where he starred as Kim Sung Yeol, a vampire who disguises himself as a scholar and meets Jo Yang Sun, a lady who dresses up like a man to sell books.

Kim Sung Yeol is friends with the Crown Prince and soon uncovers the truth of a vampire conspiracy in the kingdom. Lee Joon Gi worked with TVXQ's Chang Min and rising actor Lee Soo Hyuk.

'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo'

Just a year after, Lee Joon Gi became part of the star-studded historical series "Scarlet Heart Romance." He played Wang So, the 4th Prince in the palace. He teamed up for the first time with multi-talented star IU.

It depicts the story of Go Ha Jin, who traveled back in time during a solar eclipse. Wang So is a tough and cold-hearted yet innocent man who later on falls in love with the 21st-century woman Ha Jin. This drama highlighted Joon Gi's deep and emotional acting. Though their love story ended tragically, the K-drama heartthrob mentioned in his previous interview on MMTG Show that they actually filmed an alternate ending scene where his and IU's characters reunited, but the production made changes and didn't make it to the final cut.

'Lawless Lawyer'

Back to his charismatic persona, Lee Joon Gi made a character transformation and played the role of Bong Sang Pil, a former gangster and turned lawyer who is ready to risk his life to punish the evils to avenge his mother's death. Though it has almost the same plot as his 2007 series "Time Between Dog and Wolf," the director created a difference by combining actions and legal genres in one.
