'Why Her?' Press Conference: Hwang In Yeop Reveals What Makes Him Accept the Drama
On May 31, "Why Her?" stars attended an online press conference and Hwang In Yeop shared the stories of what it is like working with actress Seo Hyun Jin. Actors Bae In Hyuk and Heo Jun Ho were also present at the event.
The rising actor said that when he first saw the script, the title already caught his eyes and he gained the desire to play the role of Gong Chan to show his past and present narratives. He added, " I wanted to do it because I thought I would be able to show a different side of myself."
Hwang In Yeop also expressed his deep character immersion," For me, Gong Chan is calmer and less talkative than me because he lives in the present with pain from the past."

Meanwhile, regarding acting with Hwang In Yeop and Bae In Hyuk, lead star Seo Hyun Jin shared, "Both of them were stable in reading the script. I thought I shouldn't look ridiculous because I looked too old, but fortunately, Hwang In Yeop wasn't as young as I thought."

On the other hand, in the case of the "True Beauty" actor whose first time teaming up with Seo Hyun Jin said his impression about her. In Yeop said, "When I first met Seo Hyun Jin, she looked beautiful. I was happy to have the chance to act with her."
The heartthrob added, "I was so nervous and shy that it was hard to make eye contact with Seo Hyun Jin during the beginning of the filming. But she gave me warm and comfortable consideration," expressing his gratitude for the female co-star.
Furthermore, "Why Her?" also known as "Why Oh Soo Jae?" is about to premiere on June 3 on SBS primetime. It will have its regular broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. (KST).
The legal drama continues to bring hype to the viewers. The lead stars also shared during the press conference about the chemistry of Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop) and Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin).
Meanwhile, this marks Hwang In Yeop's second drama for 2022. Last May he displayed his charming character in the musical Netflix series "The Sound of Magic" where he worked with actors Ji Chang Wook and Choi Sung Eun.
