'Yumi's Cells 2' Episode 1: Kim Go Eun's Moving on Phase From Ahn Bo Hyun
After the long wait, "Yumi's Cells" season 2 features Kim Go Eun's new journey after her devastating heartbreak with Ahn Bo Hyun.
The webtoon-based series follows the story of Kim Yumi, an ordinary office worker living an extraordinary life alongside her adorable cells.
The story unfolds from the perspective of Yumi's brain cells, who are responsible for controlling her reactions, emotions, and feelings.
'Yumi's Cells' Season 2 Episode 1: Accepting the Breakup
The first episode showcases a look back at her romance with Goo Wong (Ahn Bo Hyun) and how the breakup affected her.
Like Kim Yumi, the cells at Sepho village had a hard time facing reality. They recalled the time when they were so thrilled to see Yumi, excited to wake up each day to see Goo Wong.
The same goes for Yumi's then-boyfriend, who showed his effort to make her feel special.

Unfortunately, due to some circumstances, the duo decided to break up. Of course, Yumi was devastated that things had ended between her and Goo Woong.
While Yumi had a hard time dealing with her relationship fallout, the cells were unwilling to accept the "notice of breakup" delivered by Mail Cell. If they accept it, it means that Yumi and Goo Wong are officially over.
At first, they did all sorts of things to avoid it, but Mail Cells explained that greater things would happen if they delay the acceptance.
Reason Cell was the one who took the courage and received the "notice of breakup."
Huge Flood Hits Sepho Village
While Yumi's primary cell, Love, is at the hospital having her recovery, the rest of the cells experience massive rain and flood in the village. It is because Yumi is having a hard time moving on with her recent breakup.
"It has been six days, yet it felt like six months," Yumi said to herself.
Unfortunately, she had to deal with and go through the painful and harsh process of moving on. She often goes on a jog to clear her mind. On top of it, she always goes home late so she wouldn't spend her time at home and remember her ex-boyfriend.
Day by day, she felt like slightly moving forward. Slowly but surely, Yumi is learning how to heal from the breakup.
Will Yumi Accept Yoo Bobby's Invitation?
Days and weeks gone by, and Yumi seemed to have found herself again, thanks to his good friend and colleague, Yoo Bobby (GOT7's Jinyoung). They became even closer now that they get to spend more time together. From office lunch to late-night walks and sharing book recommendations and going to ska concerts.
Meanwhile, Yoo Bobby gained a fan club at Sepho village. The cells appreciate how he makes Yumi smile even at simple things.
Interestingly, Yoo Bobby got honest and asked Yumi out on a date.
