'Why Her?' Episode 5: Oh Soo Jae & Gong Chan Discover the Culprit Behind the Office Attack
A mysterious guy tried to rob the USB file at Oh Soo Jae's office. She was attacked after keeping Hansu Bio-related USB. The female lawyer was in fear of entering the building and felt uneasy. Among all the people she knows, she immediately dialed Gong Chan's (Hwang In Yeop) number and told him her address.
The male student rushed to her place and unexpectedly engaged in a fight with the masked man who went to Oh Soo Jae's office.

She was taken to the hospital and escorted by Gong Chan for treatment. The police came and asked some questions, but Oh Soo Jae didn't want to investigate the case. It was the safest thing she could do to look for the real culprit herself.
The legal clinical squad already found out that Gong Chan likes Professor Oh, after he asked them to help him with the USB he found during the incident. The culprit dropped the USB, and luckily Chan was the one who got it.
Gong Chan also found out that Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk) is the son of Choi Tae Guk (Heo Jun Ho) and the brother of Choi Ju Wan (Ji Seung Hyun). Their exchange of information about themselves hinted at a close partnership to protect Oh Soo Jae against her enemies.

After getting evidence, it has been found that Choi Ju Wan was the one who attacked Soo Jae. His father Choi Tae Guk knew what he did and sent him to the US to cool down.
Oh Soo Jae's Miserable Past Was Revealed
Another culprit in the office attack was Han Gi Taek (Jeon Jae Hong). While having a private talk with him, he opened up about Oh Soo Jae's past. It was then revealed that Soo Jae and Choi Ju Wan were in a relationship seven years ago.
Choi Tae Guk sent the female lawyer to the US, who was pregnant with his son, Choi Ju Wan's child. He blackmailed her and said that Ju Wan would follow her there to raise the baby and get married soon.
But ended up hearing the news that Ju Wan was getting married to another woman in Korea. Oh Jae Soo, had a stillborn child and tried to process everything that was happening in her life.

Eventually, Soo Jae decided to return to Tae Guk's side and accepted his offer, only with the goal in mind that she needs to get everything from him, and must put him down as revenge for what he had done to her life.
