Curious about the actor's filmography? Here's a rundown of Park Hae Soo's Kdrama from his claim to fame to his current series. 

Most viewers know him from the smash-hit series "Prison Playbook," while others gained interest in the South Korean star after joining the cast of "Squid Game."

Now, he is again making headlines as with his role as Berlin in "Money Heist Korea."

Interestingly, he once spoke about how "blessed" he was starting in 2021.

During his interview for his new movie "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations," the 40-year-old star states a lot has changed starting with being a first-time dad.

Park Hae Soo became a dad to an adorable baby just weeks after "Squid Game" premiered.

It was then followed by the success of the Netflix series and followed by the action thriller movie with Sol Kyung Gu and "Money Heist Korea."

'Prison Playbook'

The tvN series is definitely on the top list regarding Park Hae Soo's Kdramas, as "Prison Playbook" is his breakthrough performance.

The series marked his first-ever lead role since he made his acting debut in 2012.

In the comedy life drama, the 40-year-old star took the role of a famous baseball player named Kim Jae Hyuk, who ended up behind bars due to an incident.

After saving his sister from a perpetrator and accidentally killing the suspect, he was sentenced to years in prison.

Interestingly, this is where he met people from different walks of life, from a gang leader and a druggie to a military captain.

Kim Jae Hyuk also met his former best friend, Lee Joon Ho, played by Jung Kyung Ho who works as an officer in the prison.

The Kdrama that gained worldwide recognition and achievement is Netflix's "Squid Game."

In the psychological thriller series, Park Hae Soo played the antagonist Cho Sang Woo, a.k.a player no. 218.

He is among the debt-ridden contestants who used to be the pride of Ssangmun-dong after he made it to the prestigious university, Seoul National University (SNU).

Unfortunately, little did they know that Cho Sang Woo illegally managed a client's money from his investment team and was hunted by the officials.

Park Hae Soo is joined by Lee Jung Jae, Wi Ha Joon, Jung Ho Yeon, veteran actor and Golden Globe winner Oh Young Soo.

'Chimera'

The same year, he headlined the thriller mystery Kdrama "Chimera."

He played the role of violent crimes detective Cha Jae Hwan, who was tasked to prevent a serial arsonist from his killing spree.

The detective is working alongside Profiler Eugene Hathaway played by Claudia Kim and Surgeon Dr. Joong Yeob portrayed by Lee Hee Joon.

Park Hae Soo's current series is the Korean adaptation of "Money Heist."

In Netflix's "Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area," the actor plays Berlin, a North Korean prisoner who was sanctioned for 25 years after being caught escaping the country.

He takes vengeance by joining the group of thieves led by The Professor, played by Yoo Ji Tae, to undergo one of the country's greatest heists in history.
