‘Alchemy of Souls’ Episode 10: Jung So Min Runs Miles To See Lee Jae Wook Again
After being away from each other for a while, Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook's hearts grow fonder. In "Alchemy of Souls," episode 10, the two run miles just to see one another again. Here's what went down in the latest episode of the tvN drama!
'Alchemy of Souls' Episode 10: Jang Uk Escapes From Songrim Jeongjingak
After becoming an official Songrim Jeongjingak mage, Jang Uk (Lee Jae Wook) is locked up in the training center to master new skills and the ethics of a Songrim mage.

Mu Deok (Jung So Min) couldn't come with his master as maids and guests weren't allowed in the place. Because of this, the two worry about each other.
Jang Uk finishes reading every book that he was given as he is eager to go home. However, Park Jin (Yoo Jun Sang) gives the young mage another task.

Confused, Jang Uk reads a blank book that can only be read with much concentration. Luckily, Master Lee (Im Chul Soo) comes to the rescue again, giving him hints on how to read the book.
Jang Uk then gets bored after a while and decides to sneak out of Songrim to find Mu Deok.
Mu Deok's Uninvited Visitor
While waiting for her master's return, Mu Deok is surprised to see Seo Yul (Hwang Minhyun) waiting for her.
The two shop for an umbrella; the thing that he lent her a day ago after the storm broke it.

Mu Deok also asks Seo Yul to take care of Jang Uk while she's not yet in Songrim.
Meanwhile, Seo Yul saves a young blind girl from thugs at the market. She is the girl from Sari Village who pretends to be Mu Deok, the firstborn daughter of the Jin Clan of Jinyowon.
Mu Deok Runs Miles To See Jang Uk Again
Determined to be reunited with her master again, Mu Deok applies to be an official Songrim servant.

On the exam day, Mu Deok finds herself in a dilemma as she couldn't answer a single thing from the questionnaire.
Thankfully, Seo Yul, Park Dang Gu (Yoo In Soo) and the Crown Prince Go Won (Shin Seung Ho) work together to answer the same questionnaire and help Mu Deok pass the exam.

After perfecting the exam, the Crown Prince distracts the examinees and passes the perfect answer sheet to Mu Deok.
Meanwhile, Jang Uk is able to read the blank book, which was a love letter of the Songrim founder to his first love- the first leader of Jinyowon.
It was a blank book as she was blind, and through her heart's energy, she could read the sincerity of his heart.

Mu Deok then passes the first stage of the exam. She also successfully conquers the second stage, which includes homemaking, washing clothes, cleaning, and cooking.
She is able to secure a spot and officially becomes a Songrim servant after passing the third and final stage of the test.
At the end of the episode, Mu Deok and Jang Uk confess how much they missed each other.
