‘Why Her?’ Episode 16: Did Seo Hyun Jin Win Against Her Enemies?
In 'Why Her?' Episode 16, TK Law Firm's Chairman Choi Tae Guk gets a taste of his own medicine after his son Choi Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk) and right-hand man Ha Il Gu (Jeon Jin Ki) abandons him.

'Why Her?' Episode 16: Oh Soo Jae Exposes Choi Tae Guk
Oh Soo Jae dropped her hidden cards one by one, making everyone in the room shocked to know the true colors of Choi Tae Guk. She revealed the video of Mr. Choi pushing Park So Young on the rooftop of TK Law Firm, which made everyone disgusted. After seeing everything, Tae Guk felt hopeless and lost about what to do next.
Ha Il Gu, Choi Tae Guk's executive secretary, became a star witness and exposed everything he knew about the chairman. He confessed that Choi Tae Guk was the one who murdered Jeon Na Jung, Gong Chan's step-sister, and framed him as the suspect.

He was very apologetic for what he had done and took the opportunity to make a sincere apology to Gong Chan.
Choi Tae Guk's son Choi Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk) chose to side with Oh Soo Jae and secretly gave all the evidence to her. As it was his only way to help her.
In the end, Oh Soo Jae and her team won and Gong Chan was able to give justice for the death of his stepsister. His stepmother visited him after the trial ended and gave him a warm hug. She thanked Gong Chan for giving justice to her daughter Jeon Na Jung.

TK Law Firm's chairman was guilty and scheduled to enter prison as his punishment. But before that, he visited his office for one last time and saw that many of his employees were leaving the company.

While in his office, Tae Guk drank bottles of alcohol and his favorite chips. He overdosed on pills.
While fighting for his life at that moment, he called Oh Soo Jae and admitted that among the people he called, she was the only person who answered.

He didn't want to admit that he lost to Oh Soo Jae. With his ego and pride, he would rather die than stay in jail.
Unfortunately, while talking to Soo Jae, Choi Tae Guk lost his life.
A New Beginning for Oh Soo Jae
No more pain for Oh Soo Jae as she finally settled for a new life. She became Baek Jin Ki's legal advisor with his case. Though he needed to be punished, the former professor thanked Oh Soo Jae for helping him.
Yoon Se Pil also thanked Oh Soo Jae for everything and even offered to invest in her start-up law firm. The professor declined.
Oh Soo Jae also remained a regular professor at the Seojung Law University. Her previous students and members of the Legal Clinic Team became the top students in her class.
Oh Soo Jae and Gong Chan got their much-deserved happy ending.
