‘Yumi’s Cells’ Season 3: Timothée Chalamet to Join Kim Go Eun?
"Yumi's Cells" season 3 might be more exciting than the two previous seasons as Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet is rumored to participate in Kim Go Eun's drama!
The webtoon-based series follows the story of an ordinary office worker Kim Yumi, played by the 31-year-old actress, and her journey to finding her true love.
Besides her colorful romance, Yumi is being joined by her adorable cells headed by her primary cell, Love. they are responsible for her feelings, reactions, and emotions.
For the third season, the production team spoke about the possible leading man of Kim Go Eun and Timothée Chalamet's name popped out.
Timothée Chalamet to Participate in 'Yumi's Cells' Season 3?
According to various media outlets, "Yumi's Cells" director Lee Sang Yeob mentioned in a recent interview the possibility of having season 3 and cast lineup.
As viewers are looking forward to another sequel, the director is tight-lipped about season 3 and shared that the team "needs time to rest" and couldn't officially mention anything about an upcoming season.
"There's nothing I can say about (the season 3 of 'Yumi's Cells') for now. We still need time to rest because we spent a lot of time for the 1st and 2nd seasons."

As for the cast members, especially new actors joining the K-drama, the production team joked about bringing the "Call Me By Your Name" star.
"Ahn Bo Hyun has opened the 'gate' in the first season and Park Jinyoung portrayed his character very well in the second season," director Lee Sang Yeob shared, adding, "For the 3rd season, the production team jokingly said that we want Timothée Chalamet."
The Hollywood star is best known for his movies like "Dune," "Call Me By Your Name," "The lady Bird" and "Little Women," which will also be remade in Korea, headlined by Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and Park Ji Hoo of "All of Us Are Dead."
'Yumi's Cells' Season 3: Who Will Kim Yumi End Up With?
While the popularity of Kim Go Eun's drama grew not just in Korea but also in Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, the finale episode of "Yumi's Cells 2" kept viewers hanging as the fourteenth episode hints at her possible love line.
In the last scene, a certain Shin Soon Rok was introduced as the new team leader and will be working alongside writer Yumi.
Interestingly, the team kept it a mystery and did not show who played the character.
With this, viewers are demanding the production team to release season 3 after they left the last season with an open-ended finale.
On the other hand, some are still hopeful that Yumi will end up with one of her ex-boyfriends.
Some viewers are divided between Goo Wong (Ahn Bo Hyun) and Yoo Babi (GOT7 Jinyoung.)
