K-drama Stars Who Risked Lives For Their Roles: Han So Hee, Song Joong Ki, Yoo Ah In, More
South Korean actors are known for their passionate and impressive acting performances such as popular stars like Park Shin Hye, Hyun Bin, Cho Yeo Jeong and more.
Acting can sometimes be dangerous as accidents are inevitable. While some minor incidents happen, a lot of actors had to go through intensive surgeries to recover.
Here are some of the stars who have risked their lives on set. Read on to know more!
Han So Hee
Rising star Han So Hee appeared from one project to the next, and dominated the Netflix Global charts with her dramas "The World of the Married," "Nevertheless" and most recently, "My Name."
In her upcoming drama "Gyeongseong Creature," Han So Hee was reported to have sustained an eye injury while on stand-by of her next action scene.
She was rushed to the hospital to receive immediate treatment. Thankfully, she didn't need to have to undergo surgery at the moment.
Yoo Ah In
During the filming of the 2015 film "Veteran," Yoo Ah In's life was put at risk when the most serious accident happened to him on set.
Without any stunt double, Yoo Ah In drove a car on his own at 200 kilometers an hour during a car chase scene.
Even though he prepared himself for the scene, the windshield from a motor suddenly flew to his location and hit the actor straight in the jaw.

Luckily, Yoo Ah In was able to survive the accident as some could have lost their life due to the severe and brute impact.
Kim So Hyun
Child actress Kim So Hyun has been in a lot of South Korean dramas, cementing her name as one of the best stars in her generation.
When she was filming her historical romance drama "The Tales of Nokdu," Kim So Hyun suffered from a dangerous incident.
Kim So Hyun was riding a horse when she fell and got severely injured. The production unit was quick to their feet, and the actress was immediately transported to the hospital.
The actress was able to resume filming in no time after receiving treatment and enough rest.
Song Joong Ki
World renowned star Song Joong Ki was known for his swoon worthy acting role in the international hit series "Descendants of the Sun."
But did you know that the actor suffered from a serious accident during the filming? The actor endured a serious arm fracture that took a long time to heal.
Since the production unit couldn't halt the filming schedules, the actor's cast was used as a prop during one of the episodes.

Good thing that Song Joong Ki is a great actor and continued acting without failure despite his injury.
