Han Hyo Joo To Possibly Work With Ju Ji Hoon in New Sci-Fi Drama
K-media outlet JTBC reported on August 11 that "Happiness" star Han Hyo Joo is courted to appear in the sci-fi drama "Dominant Species." On the same day, the actress' agency BH Entertainment confirmed that the celebrity received an offer to be part of the project. However, she is still reviewing the offer.

"Dominant Species" revolves its story about a world of superior genes, viruses, and a place where people ingest food as pills. It is the next drama of "Grid" and "Forest of Secrets" writer Lee Soo Yeon.
In addition, production company Ace Factory, which also distributed Kang Ha Neul's "Insider," will be in charge of producing the show. It has been said that writer Lee already worked with the company before.
'Dominant Species' To Begin Filming in October
Previously, "Kingdom" actor Ju Ji Hoon was reported to join the series and offered to play the male lead. If the two accept the drama, it will be their first-ever small screen team-up together.
Furthermore, once the cast has been finalized, "Dominant Species" is scheduled to start filming this coming October.
Meanwhile, the global streaming platform where it will be produced is still under discussion.

She will lead the webcomic-based drama "Moving," alongside Jo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Sung Kyun, Ryoo Seung Ryong, Kim Hee Won, Ryoo Seung Bum, Moon Sung Geun, Kim Do Hoon, Ko Yoon Jung, Lee Jeong Ha, Hwang Dae Woong, and Park Hee Soon.

The high-budgeted series might have 20 episodes in total.
Furthermore, Han Hyo Joo is also returning to the big screen as she is confirmed to join the cast of the upcoming second installment of the movie "Believer," which is set to meet the viewers in cinemas in 2023.
