In "If You Wish Upon Me" episode 2, Yoon Gyeo Rye begins his duties as a volunteer at the Woori Hospice with Team Genie. A cancer patient caught his attention, and finds himself fulfilling one of the patient's wishes.
'If You Wish Upon Me' Episode 2: Seo Yeon Joo Clashes With Yoon Gyeo Rye
Yoon Gyeo Rye (Ji Chang Wook) went to Woori Hospice to start his volunteer work. Unfortunately, on his way, he accidentally passed by Seo Yeon Joo (Choi Sooyoung) and made her fall into a pit.
In return, after learning that he was headed to the hospice, nurse Seo kicked one of Gyeo Rye's car side mirrors, which infuriated him. The two had a bad impression of each other on their first meeting as colleagues.
Meanwhile, Kang Tae Sik (Sung Dong Il) gave Yoon a briefing about the hospice and what will be his duty during his stay.
Yoon Gyeo Rye's Duty as Volunteer Begins
To fulfill the patient's wishes before he died within the week, Yoon Gyeo Rye escorted Kang Tae Sik to the patient's old house. The cancer patient wished to visit his house again were all his good memories happened.

Yoon Gyeo Rye Fulfills the Cancer Patient's Wish
In the process of bringing the patient to his home, Kang Tae Sik and Yoon Gyeo Rye had a fight along the way. It was after Yoon underestimated the cancer patients and their remaining days on earth. Due to this, Mr. Kang gave him a sermon and asked him to watch his mouth first before saying anything harmful in front of the patient.

During the night, Yoon Gyeo Rye had a conversation with the patient. Seeing him waiting made Yoon tear up. A very unusual thing for him to do. The cancer patient wanted to see the tree of persimmon bear fruits again in his backyard.
The next morning, he was surprised to see the whole tree packed with persimmons. It made him smile and remembered all the happy memories he shared with his wife and daughter in the past.

Nurse Seo then revealed to Mr. Kang said that it was Yoon Gyeo Rye who stayed up all night to paint fake fruits and hang them on the trees so that the patient would see them early in the morning. Yoon's unexpected gesture made Kang Tae Sik and Seo Yeon Joo's hearts flutter.
