The final episode has come! Park Eun Bin, Kang Tae and Kang Ki Young's drama now closes its curtains. In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Episode 16, the lady lawyer finds a sense of fulfillment, love and self-respect as she comes to terms with all of her baggage in her life.

'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Episode 16: Woo Young Woo Meets Choi Sang Hyeon

In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" Episode 16, Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) meets his half-brother Choi Sang Hyeon (Choi Hyun Jin) on her mother's side.

Like Woo Young Woo, her brother is also a genius who has won awards for cybersecurity. He also shares the same favorite food as her which is kimbap (rice rolls). Choi Sang Hyeon admits that he's the person responsible behind the huge hacking case of the Raon company.

Their mother Tae Su Mi (Jin Kyung) tells him not to say a word and keep everything a secret as it could ruin her career, desperate to get the ministry position. However, Choi Sang Hyeon runs to Woo Young Woo whom he wanted to meet for a very long time.

Woo Young Woo Defends Choi Sang Hyeon

At Hanbada, Choi Sang Hyeon confesses everything to his older sister. He admits to hacking the company after the co-CEO Kim Chan Hong (Ryu Kyung Hwan) hires him to steal confidential files.

Due to the guilt he's feeling, he decides to come clean despite their mother's disapproval. Han Seon Young (Baek Ji Won) wants to use the situation to ruin Tae Su Mi.

Even if she only met the boy, Woo Young Woo is more than willing to defend Choi Sang Hyeon. She finds out that the latter encrypted the files and nobody could access the data. Therefore, he didn't breach anything yet.

The CEO who tried to take his own life in the previous episode decides to file a case against Kim Chan Hong.

Meanwhile, Tae Su Mi wants to send Choi Sang Hyeon to the States to control the damages. Woo Young Woo is also asked to fly away from Seoul as her connection to Tae Su Mi would also ruin her career.

Woo Young Woo Confronts Tae Su Mi

While Tae Su Mi wants to run away from the truth, Woo Young Woo confronts her, and convinces her to let Choi Sang Hyeon come clean properly.

Woo Young Woo cries her heart out as she pleads with her to be a good mother to Choi Sang Hyeon, even if she has abandoned her own daughter.

At court, Woo Young Woo questions Choi Sang Hyeon and allows him to confess properly. Tae Su Mi also watches silently while her son is at the stand.

Tae Su Mi then expresses her apologies for what her son did, and announces that she withdraws from the Minister of Justice position.

Woo Young Woo and Lee Jun Ho Find Love and Contentment

With the case finally resolved, the Hanbada lawyers gather and celebrate. Jung Myeong Seok (Kang Ki Young) is also present with his ex-wife Choi Ji Soo (Lee Yoon Ji).

His ex-wife looks after him during his post surgery, hinting at the unresolved business between them. In episode 16, the two decide to get back together as long as Jung Myeong Seok takes his time before returning to court.

Kwon Min Woo, Choi Su Yeon, Dong Geurami (Joo Hyun Young) and Kim Min Shik (Im Sung Jae) are also at the celebration. Meanwhile, Woo Young Woo becomes a full-time lawyer at Hanbada, making her old man proud.

Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh) confesses that he has so much love for her, and she makes him a whole lot happier than he actually is.

He asks Woo Young Woo not to break up with him to which she agrees, admitting that she finds fulfillment and love in her relationship with Lee Jun Ho.
