According to the streaming giant, the upcoming series tells the story of an ordinary man who accidentally killed a murderer and a detective in relentless pursuit of him.

In the "Murder DIEary," Choi Woo Shik is set to play the character of Lee Tang, an ordinary college student who gets involved in an argument with a customer while working as part-timer in a convenience store. He found himself losing his self-control and unconsciously swings a hammer and accidentally killed the person.

However, he finds out that the victim was a serial killer; this prompted him to realize that he has a supernatural ability to identify bad people.

The incident pushed him to transform into a dark hero who is set to punish bad people.

However, despite his good motive, detective Jang Nan Gam, portrayed by Son Suk Ku, is on the hunt to catch the dark hero.

As for Lee Hee Hun, he took the role of a former detective named Song Chon who joined Jang Nam Gan to track Lee Tang's whereabouts.
