Lee Dong Wook Communicates With Global Fans Through UNIVERSE
Lee Dong Wook is currently working on the second sequel of the fantasy-romance drama "Tale of the Nine Tailed."
With his popularity, his agency KingKong by Starship announced on August 10 that Lee Dong Wook, alongside labelmates Kim Bum and Yoo Yeon Seok, would officially launch their Planet accounts on the online platform UNIVERSE. This is to strengthen their connection to global fans.

Lee Dong Wook was the first among the three heartthrobs to be active on the online platform.
On August 20, the "My Girl" actor made headlines after he addressed other fans in a private messaging feature through UNIVERSE.
Lee Dong Wook Addresses Fans For Unreasonable Demands
People were amazed after Lee Dong Wook firmly addressed some demanding fans who kept asking the actor for selfies of his co-stars.
This was after fans flocked to the messaging platform, and their requests flooded Lee Dong Wook's account. The "Goblin" star also received a demand from fans for him to send them selcas of Kim Bum.
Lee Dong Wook said, "Why are you asking me? Go and ask him (Kim Bum) yourself to send you selfies. I'm not being jealous. Some of you don't know my personality that well yet."
He added, "Why would I mention other actors here on this app?"
He also brought up the same thing that happened during one of his V Live broadcasts. According to Lee Dong Wook, there are always people asking him about other actors and would say that he is jealous of them when he is not.
The model-actor explained further that he isn't angry. He is just making things clear, so people would understand his sentiments. He also asked other fans to stop being rude on the messaging app.
Lee Dong Wook further clarified that he joined UNIVERSE to communicate and have a good time with fans, and not grant unreasonable requests.
He concluded, "I am not upset. I'm talking about basic etiquette. When it comes to addressing these kinds of matters. Messaging apps can be frustrating, sometimes, but I am not angry, so don't misunderstand."
With this recent interaction of Lee Dong Wook with the fans, despite others taking it negatively, many still lauded him for his response.
