However, after the news broke out, Park Bo Gum's agency Blossom Entertainment released their statement and clarified that the "Reply 1988" actor has not received any casting offer yet for the said project.

On August 26, EDAM announced that IU is currently reviewing the offer to star in the new series by writer Im Sang Chun. Once she accepts the project, the "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" lead actress will reunite with the "My Mister" director, Kim Won Seok.

Park Bo Gum To Reunite With 'Love in the Moonlight' Co-Stars for 'Youth MT'
The 29-year-old actor entered the Navy in August 20 and served as a cultural promotion soldier. He was officially discharged from the military service on April 30 of this year. His first public appearance was at the Baeksang Arts Awards last May.
Park Bo Gum is also making his variety show comeback in the forthcoming star-studded tvN show "Youth MT" where he will reunite with former "Love in the Moonlight" co-stars Kim Yoo Jung, Kwak Dong Yeon, Jin Young, and Chae Soo Bin.
Cast members of the hit dramas "Itaewon Class" and "The Sound of Magic" are participating in the much-awaited program. The Korean show is expected to meet the fans and viewers starting September 9.
