‘Thirty-Nine’ Cast Update 2022: Will There be Season 2 for Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun?
The K-drama trio Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun entertained viewers with the heartbreaking yet satisfying series "Thirty-Nine."
The audience lauded the actress' chemistry as they perfectly portray best friends who grew up together and face new milestones of welcoming their forties.
Apart from the trio, "Thirty-Nine" cast also includes Lee Moo Saeng, Lee Tae Hwan and Yeon Woo Jin.
With 12 episodes, "Thirty-Nine" never failed to give viewers a good cry every episode and as the K-drama wrapped up the season on March 31, which was also Son Ye Jin's wedding day to Hyun Bin, fans are looking forward to the trio returning for a sequel.
Unfortunately, after four months since the drama series aired its finale, JTBC has no official confirmation regarding "Thirty-Nine" season 2.
Despite the K-drama not getting a green light, here's what's next for Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, and Kim Ji Hyun.

As mentioned, the day of the "Thirty-Nine" finale is also Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin's wedding.
Dubbed as the "wedding of the century," the power couple had a private ceremony at the Aston House of the Grand Walkerhill Seoul Hotel.
Among the 300 guests are her co-stars Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun.
Three months after the wedding, Son Ye Jin announces her pregnancy. On her Instagram, she revealed that she and Hyun Bin have been blessed as "a new life has come" to the couple.

Despite her hiatus from dramas and movies, Son ye Jin has been updating fans on social media, showing off her cooking skills.
Interestingly, she recently made headlines after sporting a new haircut while doing a virtual meet and greet for a brand.
Jeon Mi Do
Best known for her role as Chae Song Hwa in the hit medical series "Hospital Playlist" Jeon Mu Do took the role of Jung Chan Young, an acting coach who suffers from a fatal illness.
Although no news about a possible comeback on the small screen yet, Jeon Mi Do has been active on Instagram.
Her recent post was with Kim Ji Hyun after showing her support for her latest musical.

Besides returning to theater plays, Kim Ji Hyun confirmed her appearance in the upcoming Netflix series "D.P." season 2, joining Jung Hae In Goo Kyo Hwan, Son Seok Koo, and more.
The 40-year-old actress and Ji Jin Hee are among the new cast of the highly anticipated sequel.
In "D.P" season 2, Kim Ji Hyun will portray the character of Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun, the operations officer of the Ministry of National Defense Prosecutor's Office.
