‘If You Wish Upon Me’ Episode 8: Ji Chang Wook & Choi Sooyoung's Date Turns Sour
In "If You Wish Upon Me" episode 8, Yoon Gyeo Rye (Ji Chang Wook) confessed again to Seo Yeon Joo (Choi Sooyoung) and spontaneously asked her out. However, their first date turned sour as someone from Yoon's troubled past visited him at the hospice.
'If You Wish Upon Me' Episode 8: Yoon Gyeo Rye Bids Farewell To Sonny
In the previous episode, Seo Yeon Joo informed Yoon Gyeo Rye that his dog, Sonny, was already dying. Since he only had limited time, Gyeo Rye wanted to fulfill Sonny's last wish.
He thought Sonny would be happy if he could go back to his previous owner, but he was wrong as the couple who previously owned Sonny had no sense of responsibility, so he decided to take the dog with him.
With Team Genie's help, they built a big screen and let Yoon Gyeo Rye sit in the middle of the parking space while holding Sonny and watching the projected video where they seemed to be running in a marathon. Nurse Seo reminisced that Yoon wanted Sonny to be in a happy marathon before he died, so Team Genie made it happen.

Meanwhile, Ha Joon Kyung (Won Ji An) saw Jin Goo (Park Se Jun) alongside Nurse Seo and followed them. She then found out Yoon Gyeo Rye's whereabouts. But since Yoon was mourning, she didn't dare to get close to him.

Yoon Gyeo Rye's life began to change, and learned how to be happy. After his accidental confession to Seo Yeon Joo (Choi Sooyoung), he confessed again, and this time, he asked Nurse Seo on a date.

Ha Joon Kyung Visits Yoon Gyeo Rye
Seo Yeon Joo and Yoon Gyeo Rye enjoyed their first date and finally returned to the hospice. To his shock, Yoon discovered that Ha Joon Kyung, his past lover, was waiting for him at the lounge.
Nurse Seo was puzzled and got intrigued by Ha Joon Kyung's presence.
