'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist' Episode 11: Kim Min Jae Struggles to Obtain the Evidence
As "Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist" heads to its finale, Kim Min Jae gets closer to finding the truth but has to encounter hurdles to uncover the King and his father's death.
The tvN's historical K-drama follows the story of the royal's physician who was accused of murdering the King after failing to treat him.
Due to this, he was sent away from the town of Hanyang and ends up in the neighborhood of Gyesoo where he meets the local physician Kye Ji Han (Kim Sang Kyung) and Lady Seo Eun Woo (Kim Hyang Gi).
'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist' Episode 11: Jo Shin Woo Proves his Loyalty
The episode continues with Yoo Se Poong and Seo Eun Woo being surprised to see the lifeless court maid named Wol, who died in the hands of Royal Inspector Jo Shin Woo.
She was brought by the King hoping that Yoo Se Poong would treat her as she is the only witness to the tragic incident that happened in the palace. However, the two were surprised to see Wol die in the hands of Jo Shin Woo.
As for Jo Shin Woo, this is to prove his loyalty to the second state counselor.
Following Wol's death, Yoo Se Poong and Lady Seo Eun Woo managed to sneak into the Hanyang palace and informed the King about the incident.
While at the palace, the two inspected the one courtmaid's body who is was the first witness to the crime.

Lady Seo saw that the dead body contained a poisonous substance found in dansacho, a dangerous plant. Rumor has it that it was used to poison the King.
The duo believes that witnesses were intentionally poisoned to prevent the truth from being uncovered.
Kye Ji Han Discovers the Commissioner's Illegal Activities
The local physician, Kye Ji Han noticed that most of his patients suffered from mental illness.
During a trip to the market, he found out that someone was illegally selling high-grade opium, a depressant substance used to treat severe pain; however, it is also used in the illegal drug trade. Too many of these would greatly affect the mental status of the person.
After investigating, he found out that Commissioner Im Soo Man was running a plantation of opium and forcing people to work for him.
To prevent his illegal activity from being exposed, his men took the people working at Gyesoo including physician Kye Ji Han.
Thankfully Yoo Se Poong and Lady Seo saw their grandmother and told them about the attack.
They found out that the commissioner is keeping a plantation in the middle of a farm and forcing people to plant and harvest opium.
Together with Lady Seo, they infiltrated the poppy field to save Kye Ji Han and the rest of their family.
In the last scene, the commissioner was caught red-handed after attempting to stab Yoo Se Poong.
However, a mysterious person strikes a bow, aiming at Yoo Se Poong.
