South Korean singer and entertainer Lee Hyori is set to appear for the first time on tvN's popular variety show You Quiz on the Block, reuniting with longtime colleague Yoo Jae-suk for what fans hope will be a memorable episode.
Broadcast insiders confirmed on June 18 that Lee would participate in the filming of You Quiz on the same day.
While the network has not yet announced an official air date, anticipation is already building among viewers.
This marks Lee's first appearance on the show, though her husband, musician Lee Sang-soon, was featured in a 2021 episode where he spoke candidly about their relationship and life on Jeju Island.
Lee's upcoming appearance is especially notable as it marks a reunion with Yoo Jae-suk, her former co-host and collaborator.
The pair last worked together nearly five years ago on MBC's Hangout with Yoo, where they formed the hit co-ed project group SSAK3 alongside singer Rain.
Their chemistry during the show — and previously on SBS's Family Outing — earned them the affectionate nickname "the Nation's Siblings."
Their SSAK3 project in 2020 topped Korean music charts and was praised for its nostalgic flair and polished performances, highlighting the entertainers' enduring star power and camaraderie.
Lee joined the iconic girl group Fin. K.L., too, went on to become a household name in both music and television.
She has maintained a strong presence in the public eye through her solo work and appearances on popular variety shows.
After living on Jeju Island with her husband for over a decade, Lee and Lee Sang-soon returned to Seoul last year.
Her re-entry into the entertainment scene includes not only her appearance on You Quiz but also her upcoming role as MC of tvN's new beauty competition series, Top-Class Makeup Survival: Just Makeup, set to air later this year.
