Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo confirmed headlined an upcoming sci-fi series "Dominant Species," penned by "Strangers" screenwriter Lee Soo Yeon. After weeks of discussion, the duo is officially headlining the cast along with a roster of talented stars.

In "Dominant Species" Ju Ji Hoon took the role of Woo Chae Woon, a former soldier who graduated from the Naval Academy and now works as a bodyguard for influential people.

Meanwhile, "Chimera" star Lee Hee Joon will portray Prime Minister Seon Woo Jae. started as the secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he rose as the country's most influential leader due to his connections and after working in a political party.

While "Dominant Species" is scheduled to start its filming session this year, Ju Ji Hoon and Han Hyo Joo have a slew of upcoming movies besides the sci-fi series.
For the 40-year-old actor, his last K-drama appearance was the thriller mystery series "Jirisan" opposite Hallyu star Jun Ji Hyun.
However, he will have his big screen comeback for the movie "Gentleman" opposite Choi Sung Eun of "The Sound of Magic."
The same goes for Han Hyo Joo, who will headline the forthcoming K-drama "Moving" along with Jo In Sung and Ryu Seung Ryong.
As for movies, following the blockbuster hit "The Pirates 2," she will be joining the star-studded cast of the action thriller "Believer 2" and a special appearance in "20th Century Girl" starring Kim Yoo Jung.
