Jang Dong Yoon Reveals Hilarious Story Behind THIS Scene With Kang Tae Oh in 'The Tale of Nokdu'
In the recent episode broadcast of KBS' "Star's Way Home" on September 15, the lead cast of the movie "Project Wolf Hunting," Seo In Guk and Jang Dong Yoon, made their special appearance.
During the broadcast, the host mentioned the kiss scene between Dong Yoon and Kang Tae Oh in the historical-romance series "The Tale of Nokdu."
Previously, Kang Tae Oh said in one of his interviews that he paid attention to taking care of his lips before the take of the scene, in consideration of his co-star.
However, it was not the same case with Jang Dong Yoon as he chose to eat red ginseng candy, which has a strong flavor and is retained in his mouth until they take the kiss scene.
Jang Dong Yoon then explained his side of the "Star's Way Home," which caused laughter from the audience. The "Search" actor revealed, "I ate ginseng candy at that time."
He didn't mind eating ginseng candy, but it was too late when he realized that he had a kiss scene with Kang Tae Oh, and he didn't have time to prepare like his co-star did.
The "Joseon Exorcist" actor added that he enjoyed working in the drama and had great teamwork with Kang Tae Oh to make their scenes more appealing and fun to the viewers.
Jang Dong Yoon then concluded that if he made Kang Tae Oh uncomfortable at that time, he would apologize to him.
In 2019, Jang Dong Yoon and Kang Tae Oh starred in the KBS Monday-Tuesday series "The Tale of Nokdu," alongside Kim So Hyun. Jang Dong Yoon's character disguised himself as a female to enter the women's village and get information about the identity of his real father.

Meanwhile, Jang Dong Yoon is preparing for his back-to-back projects both in drama and film.
The actor, along with "Project Wolf Hunting" co-stars Seo In Guk and Jung So Min, headed to the U.S. to attend the 47th Toronto International Film Festival.

Adding to his upcoming projects are "My Man is Cupid," "Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too," and "Oasis."
In "My Man is Cupid" Jang Dong Yoon is expected to work with singer-actress Nana.
In "Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too," he will share the frame with Park Bo Young, Lee Jung Eun, and Yeon Woo Jin.
Lastly, Dong Yoon will have his long-awaited reunion with "School 2017" co-star Seol In Ah in the KBS melodrama "Oasis," scheduled to premiere in 2023.
