2022 APAN Star Awards: Song Joong Ki, Lee Junho Bag Major Awards

On September 29, the red carpet for the 8th annual APAN Star Awards was full of stunning stars nominated for their excellence in acting. The event was held at the Korea International Exhibition Center (KINTEX) to honor actors and dramas released from March 2021 to July 2022.

One of the highlights of the prestigious event was Song Joong Ki receiving his first-ever Daesang Award this 2022 for his top-tier performance in the record-breaking tvN legal series "Vincenzo."

He mentioned during his speech that he was nervous and not that confident with "Vincenzo" before, but because of the staff members who looked upon him sincerely, he was able to become "Vincenzo."

MBC's megahit K-drama "The Red Sleeve" proved again its prominence as it bagged three major trophies: Drama of the Year and Top Excellence Award for lead actor Lee Junho.

Meanwhile, "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" received the Best Writer Award.
