Kim Min Ha Wins Two Major Awards

Lee Min Ho's previous leading lady Kim Min Ha is earning the public's interest with her superior performance in the drama adaptation of "Pachinko," which aired in various countries.

Just before 2022 ends, the actress attended the 8th Asian Star Awards last October 7, organized by the famous fashion magazine Marie Claire and hosted by the Busan International Film Festival. Kim Min Ha won the Beyond Cinema Award.

Beyond Cinema Award is said to be newly established only this year, it is given to actors who have portrayed an active role in popular works released through various online streaming platforms.

The Korean star thanked the organization for giving her such a wonderful award. She added to her speech that Min Ha dedicated the trophy to all the good people who have helped her reach success. She also expressed her gratitude towards her role in "Pachinko" and the viewers who loved her character.

Kim Min Ha, who captured the international audience with Apple TV+'s "Pachinko," proved her global popularity by winning this trophy.

Adding to her increasing influence, the actress also won the Rising Star Award at the 2022 Asia Content Awards.

The said award ceremony is to honor the excellent works released on TV, OTT, and online content across Asia. Kim Min Ha said in her acceptance speech, "I am proud and thrilled to be here for my performance in 'Pachinko.' I will do my best to deliver more good stories in a wide spectrum in the future."

What's Next For Kim Min Ha?

She was also included in the A 100 list, which focuses on Asian and Pacific individuals who have had the greatest influence on international culture over the past year.

As such, Kim Min Ha will expand her all-around ripple effect by performing different activities inside and outside Korea.
