'I Don't Want To Do Anything' Confirmed To Premiere in THIS Month

Based on JTBC's report on October 13, Genie TV's upcoming series "I Don't Want To Do Anything," also known as "I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything," is confirmed to be released this November. Korean stars Im Siwan and Seolhyun are set to headline the new drama.

The upcoming series is based on a webtoon that follows the story of a woman in her mid-twenties. She quits her job in the city after her mother passed away and moves to a small town near the coast. She plans to do nothing for two years and simply live a minimalist lifestyle using her earnings.

Everything is going well as she fulfills her goal to live in a peaceful place and meets new friends, but someone begins to pester her home with threats. More likely, the series will be focused on the problems faced by a woman in her mid-twenties.

What To Expect From Im Siwan & Seolhyun's 'I Don't Want To Do Anything'

In addition, the K-series is said to be something viewers can relate to, especially the youth, as it talks about problems and challenges faced by a woman who escapes her busy life and settles to do nothing near the coast.

"I Don't Want To Do Anything" will be produced by GT, which is the production company behind the highest-rated series "Hotel Del Luna" in 2019.

Seolhyun takes the role of Baek Su, and Im Siwan will play the character of Dae Beom, a librarian still figuring out his purpose in life.

This marks Im Siwan and Seolhyun's first drama together.

After Im Siwan played the role of a villain in the disaster movie "Emergency Declaration," where he won Best Supporting Actor at the 2022 Buil Film Awards, the "Run On" actor will challenge himself and play another exciting character in the upcoming film "1947 Boston." 

The movie is rumored to premiere in the last quarter of 2022. "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" actress Park Eun Bin will have her special appearance in the said coming-of-age film.
