Friendship Over? Son Dam Bi No-Show at Gong Hyo Jin’s Wedding

Amid Gong Hyo Jin and Kevin Oh's dreamy wedding in New York, the public noticed Son Dam Bi's absence on her friend's big day.

On October 11, the actress' agency, Management SOOP confirmed that the "It's Okay That's Love" star is officially married to singer-songwriter Kevin Oh.

The couple got married in a private ceremony in New York attended by family, relatives, and close acquaintances.

Among the few confirmed guests are Gong Hyo Jin's best friends Jung Ryeo Won and Uhm Ji Won; however, Son Dam Bi was no-show at the wedding.

Is Son Dam Bi and Gong Hyo Jin's Friendship Over?

While Gong Hyo Jin excites her millions of Instagram followers with a sneak peek at her wedding, others noticed that Son Dam Bi was MIA at her friend's big day.

With this, it raised speculation that their friendship might be over.

Former entertainment reporter turned YouTuber Lee Jin Ho, talked about the issue in one of his videos titled "The goosebumps reason why Jung Ryeo Won attended Gong Hyo Jin's wedding | The reality of Son Dam Bi's absence."

In the clip, he said that Son Dam Bi's no-show at the wedding was "questionable."

"No matter how many schedules you have, you should be able to arrange them to attend your best friend's wedding. Especially for Jung Ryeo Won and Gong Hyo Jin because they are the main actors," he said in the video, as obtained by a media outlet. 

Gong Hyo Jin MIA at Son Dam Bi's Wedding + Indirectly Denies Rumors Regarding Friendship

Back on May 13, Son Dam Bi walked down the aisle looking like a perfect bride as she wedded former South Korean national speed skater Lee Kyou Hyuk in an outdoor private wedding at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Her bouquet was caught by model and actor Kang Seung Hyun, Son Dam-bi's best friend, model, and actress Kang Seung Hyun, In Kyo Jin, So Yi Hyun, Lim Soo Hyang, Park Na Rae, and more.

However, it's noticeable that her other friends, Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Ryeo Won were absent on her big day, sparking speculations that their friendship might have ended.

However, as the actress shares photos on her wedding day, Gong Hyo Jin indirectly denied the rumors by liking Son Dam Bi's Instagram post, signaling that there's no bad blood between them.

As for Gong Hyo Jin and Jeong Ryeo Won's absence, their respective agencies clarified the reason why the actresses were no-show at the ceremony.

At the time, Jeong Ryeo Won's representative mentioned that she had a prior commitment for a drama filming schedule in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do.

The same goes for Gong Hyo Jin who reportedly filming a new project.,

As for the singer-model and actress, she shared an Instagram post expressing gratitude to all those who attended and calling the rumors "nonsense" adding "It's not true at all, so don't misunderstand.
