Nam Joo Hyuk’s New Movie 'Remember Me’ Teases Viewers With Intriguing Behind-The-Scenes

The behind-the-scenes of Nam Joo Hyuk's new movie "Remember" along with Lee Sung Min has been released giving viewers a glimpse of what to expect in his upcoming film.

Amid the major blow, he experienced this 2022, the South Korean heartthrob is slated for back-to-back projects starting with the action thriller movie.

The 28-year-old actor returns to the big screen with the action-packed film "Remember" where he plays In Gyu.

In the upcoming movie, Nam Joo Hyuk's new role portrays In Gyu, a part-timer who is in his twenties and works for Pil Joo, played by veteran star Lee Sung Min.

Pil Jo, who is in his eighties and has Alzheimer's disease, lost everything during the Japanese occupation in Korea and wants to seek revenge with the help of In Gyu.

He was offered by Pil Jo with a whopping paycheck for him to drive the old man for a week. Their age gap did not become a hindrance as the duo are known for having a tight bond.

Unfortunately, he gets caught up in a messy situation after he was accused of being a suspect in a case. What's worse is that the Pil Joo he sees is only one side of him while his identity is still a mystery for In Gyu.

Ahead of its premiere, Ace Maker Movie Works released an intriguing behind-the-scenes featuring lead stars Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Min who looked unrecognizable with their transformations.

Both stars were immersed in their scenes as they perfectly embodied their characters while in a beaten red Ferrari.

In one scene Nam Joo Hyuk ran for his life as the camera followed him.

On the other hand, Lee Sung Min wows everyone with his transformation donning prosthetics and white hair as he depicts a role of a 80-year-old man with Alzheimer's.

In a report, Nam Joo Hyuk briefly spoke about playing the role of In Gyu and being in an action-themed movie.

"Because it's a life action, it consumes a lot of stamina," he said, adding "Every time I shot an action scene, it was difficult, but it was also fun."

Besides the two lead stars, the "Remember" cast also includes "Escape from Mogadishu" star Jung Man Shik.

Following the teasers, "Remember" is slated to have its theatrical release on October 26.

Nam Joo Hyuk To Enlist for Mandatory Military Service in December

While "Remember" is slated to debut this October, Nam Joo Hyuk has plans to join the military in December, according to Sports Chosun.

However, in a report cited by a media outlet, his agency, Management SOOP said that the "exact date has not been fixed because he has yet to be issued a draft notice."

Apart from his soon-to-be-released movie, Nam Joo Hyuk will be headlining a new K-drama "Vigilante" with Yoo Ji Tae, Lee Joon Hyuk, and Kim So Jin.
