Park Eun Seok, who is best known for his performance in "The Penthouse'' has exposed illegal activities resulting in the arrest of a casting director. In an exclusive report cited by SBS Entertainment News, police have issued an arrest warrant for a casting director named Mr. Cho in relation to attempted coercion and blackmail.

Park Eun Seok Warns Fellow Artist Regarding This Casting Director

As stated by the outlet, Seoul Southern District Court had undergone interrogation of the suspect on October 31 for allegedly making a profit by pretending to be a casting director.

Based on the report, the said Mr. Cho pretended to be a casting director and approached rookie actors for possible projects. It includes "The Penthouse" star Park Eun Seok who started his career as a theater actor.

However, Park Eun Seok posted a warning online titled "Beware of Mr. Cho"," where he informed budding artists regarding the casting director's illegal activities.

At the time, the post gained attention after several netizens wrote the same comments and blog posts containing the same stance. However, others got sued, and some reportedly received settlement money.

Park Eun Seok's Exposé

Prior to the arrest of Mr. Cho SBS' show "I want to know" aired in March 2021 aired an episode revealing that there are 105 informants who have confessed to being conned by the casting director.

Titled "A Casting Director's Secret: An Unjust Victim or a Trapped Hunter" the show highlighted his activities. However, Park Eun Seok came forward as he revealed his identity.

He revealed how he met the casting director about 4 years ago when he was still doing theater plays.

"He asked for an invitation to the performance to watch it with an industry official. But he came alone," he said, adding that he later found out that he already watched the show with another actress.

That is the reason why he sent a message to a group chat room warning them to "be careful" with Mr. Cho.

However, the casting director sued Park Eun Seok for defamation and spreading false information.

Apart from Park Eun Seok, broadcaster Choi Hee, and musical actress Kim Ho Young were also victimized by Mr. Cho.

As mentioned, the actor started his career in theater, and eventually had his small screen appearance in 2010 for the K-drama "Athena: Goddess of War" where he played one of the supporting actors.

From then on, viewers get to see Park Eun Seok playing supporting characters in various K-dramas like "Partners for Justice" where he took the role of prosecutor Kang Hyun as well as in "Doctor Prisoner."

Interestingly, he gained fame after landing the role of wealthy Korean American Logan Lee in the hit K-drama "The Penthouse."

It was then followed by his appearance as Crown Prince in "Moonshine.
