Kim Gyu-ri, a South Korean actress, has publicly denied online rumors that a restaurant run by Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong will be closed for two months. She says she will give evidence to the authorities against people who make false comments.

There was a lot of talk online about the business being told to stop operating for two months because of supposed violations of the Food Sanitation Act. The claims spread quickly on YouTube channels, online communities, and sites that host short videos.
Naver says that Kim talked about the issue directly on her social media account on February 24.
She wrote in a post that she shared with her followers, "I was so shocked by the article that I asked around. I was so shocked by the article that I contacted Lee Ha-neul myself."
She went on in the same post,"Conclusion: They say business is going smoothly. There's no problem, but they're trying to create one."

Kim also mentioned that they are considering legal action due to the dissemination of false information.
She said, "(Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong's side) said they're going to sue the comment manipulation group that's going beyond obstructing business to personally attacking me, so I plan to hand over the information to those who visit my channel and leave malicious comments."
"I support all self-employed business owners." she said.
The problem started when Kim recently posted a video on her YouTube channel of a small fan meeting that took place at the restaurant. Some people who saw the video said they filed complaints with the district office, saying that the event may have broken food safety rules because people were dancing to music.
Isplus said that the restaurant put out an official statement saying that the claims of a suspension were false.
The restaurant said in its statement, "Recently, false information that we have been suspended from business for two months has been indiscriminately spread through some YouTube channels, online communities, and short-form platforms. We want to be clear: We have never received a single administrative action such as a suspension of business, and we are currently operating normally. The information circulating online about a 'suspension of business for two months' is completely false and clearly false."
The restaurant was specific in their explanation of the seriousness of the allegations.
It said, "The spread of groundless fake news and distorted information is a very serious matter that directly threatens the livelihoods of not only our customers who trust and visit our restaurant, but also our employees and partners who work diligently at the restaurant. We have determined that this matter cannot be taken lightly, and we have appointed a legal representative and have begun legal action against the spread of false information and defamation."
The statement ended with, "We will use all means permitted by law to hold those responsible for the spread of unconfirmed false information and malicious slander accountable."
