Back in 2011, the "Goblin" star guested on SBS Power FM's "Boom's Young Street" where he was asked to reveal the celebrity he preferred most.
Between G.NA or IU, Lee Dong Wook chose the nation's sweetheart explaining that he preferred someone who is rather than sexy.
Interestingly, IU responded after hearing Lee Dong Wook's confession. The singer-actress expressed her gratitude and recalled her reaction upon seeing it in an article.

During his appearance in SBS' "One Night of TV Entertainment," Yoo Seung Ho mentioned that he doesn't have a specific outline when it comes to his ideal type, however, the actor named IU as the celebrity closest to his ideal type.
The actor also mentioned that he likes someone who has the same age as him, making IU her top choice since they were both born in 1993.
Kim Soo Hyun
Although he once mentioned the British actress and model Kaya Scodelario as her ideal woman, fans speculate that Kim Soo Hyun had a crush on IU.
It was after the duo starred in KBS2's "Dream High" where they played the role of high school friends.
It was then followed by a reunion project in the 2015 drama "The Producers" where they were joined by top stars Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Tae Hyun.
Interestingly, suspicions increase regarding Kim Soo Hyun's feelings towards IU after co-star Gong Hyo jin reportedly mentioned that he acted more manly around the idol-actress during the last scene.
