The South Korean heartthrob has a guest appearance on the YouTube channel ODG where he talks about his experience while starting out as an actor.

The video began with current child stars watching a clip of Yeo Jin Goo's dramas.

As seen in the video, the child actors are drawn to the "Hotel Del Luna" star's acting performance, expressing their delightment in how good the actor was.

Finally, the child actors met Yeo Jin Goo personally where he shared his experience during auditions and having projects when he was young.

Yeo Jin Goo then revealed that he was about 9 years old at the time.

One of the hosts asked him how he cried so very fast and was able to exude natural emotions.

Now the 25-year-old star revealed an acting trick he does and works on all the time.

Yeo Jin Goo imagined that it was his own mother in the specific situation. In one instance, he had to portray deep emotions since the scene includes the death of a character.

At the time, the young Yeon Jin Goo imagined that it was his mother who died which helped him convey natural emotions.

In the latter part, the "Beyond Evil" star shared what prompted him to continue his acting career.

When he was a child star, he saw acting as "fun" and kept doing it, especially when people appreciated his acting. Interestingly, this is also the reason he is still pursuing the same career.

After starring in his K-drama comeback "Link: Eat, Love, Kill" Yeo Jin Goo headlines his new movie "Ditto" along with Cho Yi Hyun from "All of Us Are Dead."

It follows the story of two individuals who lived in different times but were able to communicate.

In "Ditto," Yeo Jin Goo plays Kim Yong, a mechanical engineering student at a university who is living in 1999.

However, due to unexplainable circumstances, he was able to communicate with Mu Nee, a sociology major at the same university as Kim Yong but is living in the present time.

Joining Yeo Jin Goo and Cho Yi Hyun as "Ditto" lead stars are Baek In Hyuk from "Under the Queen's Umbrella," Na In Woo, and Kim Hye Yoon.

Interestingly, the movie officially had its theatrical release last November 16.
